Great dealership

by scatpack1 on 05/30/2014

This is the only dealership I deal with period. I have purchased 4 Chrysler vehicles over the years most recently a new Charger. I have always been provided the best deal on the cars and fair trade in values. My family has also purchased 2 additional vehicles from this dealership. Oak Harbor motors is a smaller dealership that understands customer service is paramount and grows business long term. This is why they will continue to see my business for years to come. Only place to buy a car new or used.

I love my new Jeep Wrangler !!

by jmalmgren on 12/26/2009

I just wanted to post this to show the over the top service I just got from Oak Harbor Motors. I saw a new 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on their web site that no one else had in stock I made my offer on line they made a fair counter. I live Portland Oregon about 5 hours away, I took the train Mt Vernon and they picked me up at the train station! The Jeep was exactly as it was advertised they took the time to go over every detail before I drove off. I just wanted to say Thanks Again to all the staff at Oak Harbor Motors!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! BUYER BEWARE!!! We bought a used (with warranty) Chevy HHR 2006, Maroon from Oak Harbor Motors, a few months ago. Since then we have had NUMBEROUS MAJOR Issues with the car. The Ignition and Stick shift have had to be replaced, the alarm stopped working right away, the Sirious satteliete radio that came with it, expired immediately, they never sent us the touch up paint they promised, we closed the trunk only to have the back end of the car completely caved in (which we have now learned was caused from a major rear end accident that was never disclosed to us) which we had to pay to have fixed. Then we just came home from christmas break on our honeymoon to learn the had a major leak and was full of water, there is so much damage... again we are learning now this is probably from the major rear end accident that was never disclosed to us. As a professional car dealer there is NO way that Oak Harbor was UNaware of the accident/s this car had been in, in fact you can see where it was repainted and fixed if you have the trained eye, which any dealer would. They also showed a faulty Carfax to prove it had been in no accidents. We were lied to all around. Now as we go back to Oak Harbors just to get a fair trade it, what we paid for the car traded in for a car that works and is in good condition with no issues or previous accidents they are offering us over $4k less then we just paid over 4 months ago. They claim it's a trade in of our choice and they are going to make a profit on it... This is the worst customer service we have ever had and has been the most horrible car experience ever. This company needs to be looked into so others are not victims. UPDATE: We have since taken the car in for the major water damage and car leak we thought was covered under the warranty. After days of testing Chevy has determined the leak is coming from the front windshield that is NOT factory and has been replaced outside of Chevy and therefore it is NOT covered under any warranties, this would have also been known to the dealer and was clearly not information passed onto us. We are left now with a water damaged, still leaking window that clearly needs to be replaced and now tons of work. Not to mention tons of labor and a rental car from Chevy we are now obligated to pay for since this is NOT under warranty. We were also told all of the other problems resulted previous rear end damage and are not under warranty either... When we called to discuss this with the owner of Oak Harbor last night he told my husband he didn't have to stand by his used cars and he hung up the phone on him. Enough said, they DO NOT STAND BY THEIR CARS, THEY DON'T HAVE TO. BUYER BEWARE!
