'06 Demo XC90 w/8,000 miles
by rich1910 on Mon Apr 24 14:12:36 PDT 2006
I'm looking to buy a 2.5T and a dealer offered me a demo with climate, premium, versatility, AWD, 6-CD with a List of $44,355 for $39,865. I figure the Invoice is $41,127. This doesn't sound like a good deal compared to what I'm reading on other posts ($8K & 9K off list, new). There was no mention of incentives, rebates. How can I determine true cost to have a negotiating position? Should I just send out for internet quotes to figure out the market? Appreciate any guidance.

Philly area dealer advertises a 2.5T with premium package and climate package with $1800 down at $429/mo., 12,000 miles per year, 42 months. You can extrapolate the lease cost by adding about $30/mo. for each $1000 of additional price. Mileage would be about 15 cents per mile so for the 15,000 miles, add $450/yr.or about $37.50/mo. I got this deal at the end of April but my payment was $369/mo. before the cost increase and interest rate rise.
