Wait to you deal with the Service Department. It's just as bad if not worse...They don't stand behind anything, to include Volvo's own Certified pre-owned standards. I bought a Certified pre-owned XC90 about 2 mos ago, turns out the front windshield wiper (intermitent setting) never worked. I tried to take it in for service, and after 3 days (2 separate service appointments) they say the problem lies with an after-market windshield (not Volvo supplied) that won't let the sensor read the rain....anyway, Darcars Service says, it'll cost $700-$800, but they'll split the cost. they say they've been burned on people bringing in issues like this for certified pre-owned replacements...whatever. Now tthey are questioning our ethics as to whether WE replaced the windshield and are insinuating that we're lying to them....come on. Sounds to me their certified pre-owned program is crap and they don't stand behind anything. STAY CLEAR OF DARCARS VOLVO, ROCKVILLE, MD.

Car Man (and others): My 2004 XC90 is about to come off lease and I am trying to reup with the dealership (DARCARS in Rockville, MD) for the following: 2007 Volvo XC90 3.2L AWD Ice White, Sandstone Leather Premium Package Versatility Package Convenience Package Wood Steering Wheel Climate Package 36 Month Lease 12,000 Miles/Year I would appreciate any comments back on what folks are getting for good deals for June and what I should be expecting for a MF and residual. Marksnark...lousy deal in my opinion.... darcars in Rockville,md are knocking $5,230.00 off all their new 06 S40's regardless of sticker. Your deal is only $500 more for an 05!! not good enough in my opinion. In my opinion, an 05 should be several thousand dollars more off.

I ended up finalizing my lease of a Ice White XC90 2.5T AWD yesterday from DarCars Volvo in Rockville (they offered the most competitive bid over all Northern Va dealers and the other MD DC dealers). Here are the details: 2.5T AWD Ice White Premium Package Climate Package Versatility Package Reverse Warning BiXeon Lights Wood Steering Cargo Net Price was invoice ($41,092) plus ($250) ad fee minus $2000 dealer cash for a sale price of $39,342. Note that I couldn't get the free versatility ($1806) because I opted instead for the $2000 dealer cash. SUV is fresh off the Baltimore port (arrived from Sweden on June 28).   Money factor is .0021, residual is 54% and MSRP is $44095. Lease is 36 months, 15,000 miles a year. Monthly lease (through Chase) is $587.78 plus tax ($1972), tags/title/registration ($161) plus assignment fee ($795) for total of $654.50. Walked out of the dealership only having to make the first month's payment of $654.50. Dealership also bought my 2001 XC70 from VFNA so I didn't have to worry about disposition fees or Wear and Tear fees. Very smooth transaction.
