i picked up the leased xc90 at the great price
by bg516 on Fri Jul 11 13:54:57 PDT 2008
well i told everyone that i got an xc90 v8 sport with an msrp 0f 55312 at the dealership in gwinnett georgia. I picked up the car yesterday, of course the sirius antenna fell off and had to be reattached this morning before i drove home,300 miles away, but they did it quick and all is fine with the car..actually a real nice car. i am not sorry i got it. now the deal was i said, 4500 drive off, 428 plus tax for 36 and 36000 miles, with overage miles at 12 cents if you can believe that. one guy said the dealer lost 1500 on the deal, so i sat with the sales manager who is a real nice guy, and he said that with the xplan price, and the incentives which are not that bad, and the fact that I took a left over 2008, IN RED!! when no one was buying, in truth he lost about 500 dollars after hold back of 1335..now get this, he sold it to me on the last day of june, so he also saved paying the interest for that car for the month, which at say 1/2 % of invoice might be 375..so he basically broke even and i brought him a present of special brownies he asked about. Now that I actually have the car, the deal wasfor real. no one had v8 sports at anything less that 699 a month, call boston volvo they have 5 in stock and wanted 651 with (130 more per month) for the same car. Yes, i had to drive it back and it cost with plane ticket and one night at the hotel and the gas and food about $300, but it was great to drive the car without the family around and get to know it.. I don't think there are too many v8's around, but if you want a 6, call these guys, they are real aggressive and seem to have a bunch of 6's on the lot, with lots of those demo service loaners too. the salesman name is brett maxwell, and the number is 678-684-4207 see what they can do to beat the new zero drive off deals on the xc90's that volvo came out today with. that is 499 a month with nothing, including all drive off fees.
Re: S60 Lease Programs [sparty411]

I don't have the actual worksheets for my car as I ended up with the S60 AWD black non-metallic paint, Climate and Premium packages. But I do have the worksheet for the same car with metalic paint. The monthly payment for this car came to $366.87 before state tax. Actual MSRP - $35,625 But he used what he called CRV of $38,100 to caluclate residual Adj. Grs Cap cost - $26,895 ( after all his rebate money available off the $35,625) Residual - .43% (x $38,100) = $16,383 Total Depreciation - $10,512 ( $26,895 - $16,383) Monthly Dep - $292.00 Mo. lease chg. $ 74.87 Total due at signing - $1394.96 (1st mo+tax385.21+ $39.75 tax + $970 GAP ins./ Acq Fee / lic & registration fees) I did this deal in Massachusetts.
Re: XC Lease End: Buy or Turn in? [Car_man]

Carman, I really appreciate your reply; tons of info. I did post over at the real trade ins, and have decided that I still want to explore a new lease. So I'm down to the 08 XC (even though I don't love the engine) and an 07 328xi wagon. And that has to happen tomorrow. I'm very torn. Thanks for your info on post 183 regarding the DVD system, it sounds like there is some room there to play with the system, and the dealer told me that it was actually "not" free, that it was a dealer rebate, so that makes sense what you said. Here's what I've been given. Honestly I have to make this purchase tomorrow as the deals all go away, but I'm attracted by 24 month lease of the XC because I could probably live with a less-than-ideal engine/gas mileage for that long: 08XC Options: Premium, Climate, Metallic, Convenience, PCC, Dynaudio MSRP: 45755 (Edmunds Invoice $41957), Edmunds MSRP: 45205 (guessing they are adding on here their own prep charges, etc) Dealer's Selling Price: 42049 Residual: 69% MF: .00105 Term 24 Months 12K miles/yr Lease: $526 plus tax I believe the dealer is applying the $1k owner loyalty cash to cap reduction. I also asked about a bluetooth installation, they want $300 for installation. Wondering if a) the deal above sounds like a good one or if there is more room and b) if it's a decent strategy to work deals on accessory installation like bluetooth. seems there is about a 15% difference btwn msrp and invoice on factory options--is that the same with accessories you buy at a dealer typically? Thanks much (and I'll be buggin ya over at the 3 series forum too).

Hi Just one question, as to " $1000 excess wear and tear allowance" you mentioned, how does that works? Any additional fees for it ? or it's included in the monthly payment? Does it mean that at the end of the lease term, the wear and tear can not be over $1000?. I leased BMW prior and never heard this term before. IN addition, do you have any idea what will be the maintenance fee like for 24 months and 36 months. Thanks a lot

VFNA has a disposition fee. It is $395. VFNA offers wear ins as part of the lease. Every bank that I am aware of has a dispostion fee.
current 2.5T and T5 incentives
by tonyt1 on Sat Jul 28 14:54:15 PDT 2007
What are the current lease incentives on the 2.5T and T5? I keep hearing about the $8000 incentive when leasing through an independent bank. Are there other lease incentives (e.g., dealer cash) that this can be combined with? I'm guessing there are because I see these cars advertised for lease with a cap cost more than $8000 under invoice. I would just like to know exactly what they are so I'm armed with all the info when I go to a dealership. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
