glad to find a place like this: by bobofit on Tue Oct 13 16:13:46 PDT 2009; My sister and I were on vacation in Washington DC when our beautiful V70 required its scheduled maintenance. Being on vacation, we debated whether to trust a dealer other than our own with out beloved V70. We decided to try Fairfax rosenthal Volvo came in without an appointment expecting to be turned away and end up with nothing, but we were surprised. They got our V70 in and we even got a loaner car, a rarity among other Volvo dealers considering very few dealers even have loaners anymore. Our car was done quickly and we picked it up the next day. In addition, we walked around Fairfax Volvo's sun-filled showroom and admired models newer than ours, we came back from our vocation in compelete high spirits and ready to tackle the world.

I plan to buy a Volov S40 2.4i. Anybody here recently bought 2007 S40 around Washington, DC area (esp. northern VA area). Which dealership is the best, and what price I can get. I sent out an online request to 3 dealerships (Don Byer in Fulls Church, Dulles, and Fairfax Volov), the response is lukewarm. Thanks very much.

Received an internet quote for a 2.5T AWD with Premium, Climate, Versatility Packages and GPS Navigation System. List $46,910, Special Internet Price $39,499 down to $38,999, if I get the Volvo financing. This is not the 9-10k off I have been hearing about, but does not seem too bad either. Also, how much should I pay for a 60 mo/100k mile warranty? Thanks. :)
