better?: by sda on Tue Jun 26 19:24:47 PDT 2007; Local dealers are advertising new 07 Passats discounted $4500 if financed thru VW Credit. I haven't looked at the invoice prices, but VW typically doesn't have a high mark up. Good deal? At least intriguing.

Luxury package with the Lemans wheels. And yes I've owned a black car in the past and know what the demands of the color choice are, but we couldn't resist. It's too sweet! Being in a smaller Texas town, we didn't feel the need for the Nav system, although I'm sure they're very useful in the big cities. The steering wheel controls for the sound system is great! I love the satilite radio, NO MORE COMMERCIALS!!! You can't beat all the other convience features. We really shopped this purchase. Compared all the 4 seat hard top retractable models and TEST DROVE them all. For the money, the ride, the outfitting, and for the SUNROOF- to- CONVERTIBLE feature, the EOS came in with it all! I was honestly ready to put my bucks on the Volvo C70 until we compared it with the EOS. We also test drove the lower end Pontiac G6, and even considered the Lexus SC. Hey, congrats on your car and your good deal too! It does pay to shop around! The open air is just a little sweeter when you know you didn't spend more than you wanted to.
