Factors may depend on your regional market. Amen!

Tell me about it! The coil recall isn't hurting these cars one bit! They are still strong as hell at the auctions, and they are still strong merchandise. Bill

Not to be rude here.. But you are a tad less informed than you think. I have been offered $500 under invoice but I still see some 'fat' to cut. Also, I am NOT paying those ticky tacky doc, port reserve, etc fees. Dealers do pay those fees. Bear in mind, the vehicle invoice is manufacturer to dealer "invoice" for the car. I.E. what the dealer pays. Therefore, it's an internal document and not one designed for ease of use by consumers! There comes a point, to me, where you can analuze something to death IMO. Bill

The $500 is probably a "Dealer Fee" here in FL. Its basically a doc fee charged by the dealer. in FL they get out of hand... $500 is highish, but not at all surprising. They tend to be highest in South FL. Here in Orlando, $300ish seems to be the norm. It is, however, illegal for the dealer to waive the fee (If the DMV does a spot-check and finds that you waived it for one person, they will require you to pay a fine AND refund that amount to everyone you charged it to!) That being said, that is an agressive deal overall in FL. Although, depending on where you are, the places to deal with seem to be: Gunther in Ft Lauderdale (If youre in South FL) and Royal if you're in Central FL. If nothing else, those are the places in South and Central FL to go for service. Also, be cautious with color down here... Dark colors (ESPECIALLY with dark interiors) can get slammed at trade-in time and be tough to re-sell. Good Luck! Bill

I'd say that most any dealer will match their pricing,as long as you let them know that you'll buy if they meet it. As far as colors go... Dark colors are not popular as a rule in FLorida (Im in Orlando and have a place in Aventura) Silver, Beige, White..etc. They all sell better and have better resale. If you need to go dark, the Blue will be easier to resell/worth more $$ in the future than the green if Ihad to guess. Right now Blue beats Green. Dealers? Who's that one in FtLauderdale with the German name... Gunther. Yeah.. Gunther seems to be the one todeal with down there. Kinda like Royal up here. Bill

Until I see some proof... I'd almost bet $$ that that was not a wholly factual post. Re: Color. That depends on where you live... I.E. A White/Beige car isnt super hot in NY City, and a Black/Black car is NOT good in FL... Bill
