I live in NY and I was quoted at the local dealers couple of hundres under MSRP...OUTRAGEOUS!!!!....I want to buy a Tiguan SE and I used autobrag.com, I offered 23000 for a new SE no roof/nav/4 motion just standard and I was suprised when a dealer from MA accepted my offer..I will let you know how the deal went through...If you check online for used Tiguans you can get the SE for around 21K , so it has a really low resale value...I don't even know if it's worth paying 23K for it...good luck

I bought my Tiguan SEL at Fathers and Sons in W.Springfield MA. Ryan, my sales guy, was fantastic and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend him - it is the 2nd VW I have purchased there. Good luck!
Got 10,000 off sticker plus a great trade in value
by qpower on Wed May 06 17:43:44 PDT 2009
So I bought an SE-RSE in Pomegranate Red, off the dealer's lot, for 10K off sticker, with a $4500 trade in on a 2001 base Chrysler Town&Country van with 63K miles and some pregnant issues... I paid less for this mid-line model with the RSE than I did for the 2001 in 2001 !! Imagine this one was over a $1000 less at negotiated price. Sticker of $33,390, paid $23,390-$4500=$18890 plus tax and registration fees. I took the cash back, not the financing, and I qualified for $500 owner loyalty. I like it well enough, cheaper than the similar Chrysler models and stock on hand. My Chrysler dealer has no inventory and doesn't know when he will see those units already on order, let alone a new order... Wow! AS to why there would be some delay, my understanding is that VW has around 23K vehicles sitting in lots in Michigan awaiting dealer orders... these were made last October or November and production stopped for VW.

Anyone else with pricing for the month of April? I live in MA and was curious what people are seeing. Also, does anyone know what the April incentives are? I was told by one dealer it was roughly $2,000 in March assuming you financed through VW, but April is now only $1,500. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

I just received three quotes today: Minuteman VW (Bedford, MA) - $18,995 (if using VW financing) + reg, doc, tax. Boston VW - $18,995 w/o VW financing or $17,995 w/VW financing + reg, doc tax. Wellesley VW - $19,826 (although I think the MSRP is $22,094 on this as opposed to the other ones at $21,195) + reg, doc, tax. These were all preliminary offers with no real negotiation. I'm assuming I can do slightly better. Any thoughts??? I am waiting to hear back from all 3 of them to see if there is more wiggle room. Will keep you updated. If anyone has a better deal, please let me know. Also, does anyone know how much money you would need to finance through VW to qualify? I really don't need to do it, but if I'm getting an extra $1,000 off the price, it may be worth it. I'm wondering if I could finance like $500-$1,000 of it only if I would still qualify for it and get the reduced price. Anyone have any experience with this??? Thanks. -Jon
