The Bridgestones used by VW aren't the top of the line, so I wouldn't expect comparable wear. If everything else is suitable, take the Michelins.

2007 Jetta: by homerkc on Wed Oct 25 19:50:40 PDT 2006; I just bought a 2007 Jetta (base, manual) for $17,500. What a deal! For $1000 less than the 2.5 model, you lose only floor mats and the 16" wheels. I know they do this for a low price point, so it's a deal like the $15000 Rabbit 2 dr. Very happy with the car and the deal.

I have heard that there are some incentives on the V8 in the US. Here is what I have been able to get from the dealer: V8 Touareg MSRP list at $56,175 (including destination) and the invoice is $51,140 (including advertising, int. reserve and a $25 port charge). The dealer finally came back to me and said that they would do $1200 over invoice. I don't think there are any incentives behind that number. Can you give me some advice on Leasing this? Expected residuals, pricing, etc.?

The "translation" is as follows" Jim Clark VW, Lawrence, KS. about 50 miles from Kansas City. 2005 Golf GLS TDI Manual, ESP, and CWP MSRP $20,585. Price was Edmunds Invoice + $329.00 VW Ad Share + $100 = $19,671. Minus VW Loyalty $500.00 = $19,171 + tax. This dealership does not charge any "FEES".

05 Pricing: by tdo123 on Mon Jan 24 16:35:11 PST 2005; I was coming up with about 500 - 1000 over invoice on V8 loaded up Treg's. The problem right now is that none of the dealers have a Package 3 or above car in inventory.
