I love my new Eos and enjoy watching the roof perform its gymnastics going up and down. I am glad I got the manual--it is fun squealing the tires and I am sure I'll get a ticket in no time. The car accelerates a lot faster than I thought and I am over 60 in no time and it surely does not feel like it. Today I leave my baby Eos back in Orlando as I head to Germany for a 10 day vacation and will practice my driving skills on the autobahn.

I live in orlando and I got a call from the dealer and they have 4 that they just got in (and are for sale) and I bought one and will pick it up tonight. I am getting a dark blue, manual, sport pkg, navigation and 18" wheels, $36,510. I had a trade and I think I am getting a pretty good deal. I am getting slightly above KBB Trade in for mine.
2 dr rabbit auto

Just bought a silver 2dr auto rabbit for my wife ,paid $16,800 + administration fee $379 ,taxes about $1049 and tag transfer $80 ,total O.T.D was $18,210 .There was no trade involved . I live in orlando , fl and most dealers here are adding about 2K in markup , which is ridiculous! Ended up going to Aristocrat VW , about 20 miles from orlando in sanford , got it at msrp ,great experience , there was no hassle or negotiating and their inventory was huge compared to the others .Great car for the price feels much more upscale than its competitors, add to that a 6 speed tiptronic and the peppy 5 cyl , can't ask for more than that.
2006 VW Passat 3.6L
by sdoo25 on Sat Feb 18 19:32:12 PST 2006
I wanted to get some input on the following Passat: Passat 3.6L Package #1 Luxury DVD Satellite Navigation MSRP = $35,130 Invoice = 32,245 From my research I come with a range from $32,700 - $33,400 as a fair price. I've been to the Fitzgerald Auto Mall site and most of their 3.6L's are listed at or below invoice, as I'm in Tampa, FL this doesn't directly help me. I wanted to know what anybody has paid for this vehicle, especially in the Tampa/Orlando area, and what anybody has paid for any Passat in the Tampa/Orlando area. I've been reading the forums for a while and have gotten many good tips and advice. Thanks for everyone's input. Tom
Best $ for passat gl tdi?
by stillooking on Fri Jun 18 18:34:42 PDT 2004
About to buy one. Can't wait for a possible manual transmission in the future. According to Edmunds there is a $1500 rebate to the dealer and $1000 loyalty rebate; both end 6/30. What has been the best price you were able to get in the month of JUNE? I'm aiming for below invoice.

The $500 is probably a "Dealer Fee" here in FL. Its basically a doc fee charged by the dealer. in FL they get out of hand... $500 is highish, but not at all surprising. They tend to be highest in South FL. Here in Orlando, $300ish seems to be the norm. It is, however, illegal for the dealer to waive the fee (If the DMV does a spot-check and finds that you waived it for one person, they will require you to pay a fine AND refund that amount to everyone you charged it to!) That being said, that is an agressive deal overall in FL. Although, depending on where you are, the places to deal with seem to be: Gunther in Ft Lauderdale (If youre in South FL) and Royal if you're in Central FL. If nothing else, those are the places in South and Central FL to go for service. Also, be cautious with color down here... Dark colors (ESPECIALLY with dark interiors) can get slammed at trade-in time and be tough to re-sell. Good Luck! Bill
