Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles

I used to think that Lindsay VW was unique among dealer repair shops in that they had done good service at competitive prices. Used to. After my last two maintenance visits I noticed that my MPGs was continuously going down. At first I believed it was the new tires I had installed. However, one thing I have noticed in the 100,000+ miles I've driven my Golf TDI is that as the oil got older, the fuel economy tended to drop. I decided to chance going to a local oil changing place (not jiffy lube) and almost like magic my MPG was back to normal after that oil change. Seemed rather coincidental to me. They have also charged me for tire rotations which were never performed. On my last visit there they returned my car with a mark from the front fender to the rear door, which of course they had nothing to do with. I have moved on from Lindsay.
