When my 2012 Chevy Sonic blew its engine 15 days after I bought it (factory error), they service department refused to follow GM's instructions to rebuild the engine. They haggled with GM until they secured a brand new engine, which they installed quickly. They performed test drives and other tests afterwards and discovered that a sensor in the new engine was defective. They personally contacted the lead designer for the Sonic and are working with him to fix the car. They are also fighting with GM to extend my warranty and reimburse my first payment. GM is being VERY uncooperative, but the head of the service deartment has spent hours on the phone arguing my case.
