I take all of my three Fords to Battlefield. I am willing to pay extra (shop fees and really high hourly rates) to get a mechanic that is trained and certified on the make of car he is working on. In these days of so much computerization, it is the rare local auto repair shop that will have all the electronic diagnosis equipment a dealership does. Doug Dent, a service advisor, is always polite, helpful (and hopefully) honest. Over the past 15 years, I have never had to take a vehicle back to correct something repaired - they got it right the first time.
