Defective Used Car

Bought a used work vehicle from this dealership, and purposely negotiated a 30 day warranty in the event of defects not seen before leaving the lot. The very first day, there was a distinct burning smell within the cabin when you come to a complete stop. Checked under the hood, but there was no visible sign of leaking fluid. Took the vehicle for Maryland vehicle inspection to get the tags changed over, and it failed. I called the original salesman at Fairfax KIA, TJ N., and without even saying bring the vehicle in so a tech can tale a look, he said that particular issue was not covered under the 30 day warranty. Long story short, I am stuck with a $900 bill to repair a leaking rack & pinion assembly so we can eventually pass the Maryland vehicle inspection. Now I know, never purchase a vehicle in VA if you need to register it in another State.
