I tried to purchase a 2012 Honda Civic Sedan EX (w/ NAVI) from this dealership. They had a couple Civic Sedans on the lot and one being delivered within the month. Just through random questioning with the Internet Sales person as I sat at his desk, I asked why Honda didnt have a longer Warranty like Kia or Hyundai. The sales rep said because we dont have to. And that was it, no explanation as to why he said it or anything just like some little elementary kid at school. I asked if we can negotiate the price down from the ridiculous quote he gave me of $2500 over MSRP and he about passed out. He immediately went and got his sales manager who said there is no way they could lower the price because of the Tsunami in Japan. Why should this affect me??? I just want to buy my wife a new car! Why should the customers suffer and have to pay these outrageous prices. Honda is big business which makes billions of dollars annually off hard working people around the world. If you havent noticed, America is going through a big recession too. Its not everyday Americans can go out and buy a car. I am over 40 years old and this is my first NEW car I am able to try and buy. First Team Honda Im kicking you off MY team!!! I bought the same car I requested through a dealer just outside of town.
