Bait & Switch Bait & Switch Oldest Trick In The Book !

This fraudulent dealership quoted 3 hours labor on a job @ $ 75.00 per hour. The vehicle was dropped off and the wrong part was ordered and so the appointment was rescheduled. The vehicle was dropped off again a week later at 9 AM in the morning. Late PM in the afternoon my wife received a phone call that the repairs were going to take much longer than quoted. She went directly to the service department wherein the steering column, dash etc. were all sitting in the front seat of the vehicle and was told the vehicle would not be ready until the next day. The next day we were charged according to the "crash book" 9.7 hours labor vs. the 3 hours that were quoted initially. The oldest game in the book, bait and switch. The service manager had the "crash book" available when the initial quote was given but only refers to it after the initial quote was given !!! Small claims court here we come :) I might add the same day a nice young woman was on the verge of tears with this service manager because she had work done to her vehicle and the chemicals they used on the carpets ended up putting her young child in the emergency room of the local hospital with a severe respiratory reaction. The non caring attitude and not knowing exactly how they were going to correct the problem with her left a lot to be desired. We have been in business in Vermont for over 40 years and are well known throughout New England for our honesty and integrity .We know what quotes are and we know what estimates are and we keep our word when giving them . Stay with the companies you can trust because the companies that are not selling vehicles and the companies that are not doing business in these times will try to make their monies in very unethical ways.
