Re: My Camry Hybrid Buy Expeience at Philly/NJ Region [wvgasguy]

Still waiting to hear from the other fellow, but wvgasguy, aren't the federal/state tax credit independent considerations from the deal you work with the dealership? I've had a couple of dealers try to weave the tax credit into their spiel, but that's not relevant when my goal is to get the best deal out of them, no? Am I missing something here? By the way, where are you in wv? My son is in Hurricane (proonounced Hur-kin by the locals... ;) ) at the Toyota plant doing an co-op program.

When I was looking, I was quoted a BZ#4 for $24,369 I'm pretty sure....just didn't match the color I was looking for..... BUT, it may not be worth it to fly over and drive 12 hours or more to save a few hundred dollars..assuming your time is valuable...hehe... Good luck!
multiple rebates?

I did not know that there was a $650 rebate ON TOP of a $750 president's day rebate....anyone else know/verify this?
Re: 2006 Used LE for $21,900, good deal or not? [atuzai]
by wandl on Fri Feb 10 07:53:03 PST 2006
I would question that deal. It is an awesome deal and probably too good to be true. I found an 05 XLE with 9k miles for $21k then found it had a salvage title. That deal just has question marks all over it... LE does not have a sunroof, a fully decked out Package #5 or #6 (on toyota's website which lists packages of ALL regions) doesn't show all those features factory. Then again it could be aftermarket......but 04's are selling for $21,900.... Be cautious...

I got mine from Fitzgerald, I live in WV. They did all the paperwork for me like a WV title application and stuff, charged WV taxes, tags and license. Only thing I paid extra is for a Maryland temp tag and a $99 processing fee. All the dealers do is forward their taxes to the state DMV or MVA.... For my particular vehicle, I did not put a deposit because there were 6 of the package and color that I was looking for. They do try to have you put a $500 refundable deposit down though....via credit card or what not. Depends on what you're looking for.. Alvin

I completely agree..invoices differ by regions. It did take me 3 1/2 hours to get in and out though, just miscellanious paperwork and stuff kept me longer there....but I was happy with everything!
