I just bought a 08 Sequoia Limited MSRP 51,625 for 42,288 from Doxon Toyota in Auburn Wa. Real nice folks to work with, no hard push. Got 5.99 percent on a 84 month loan. Really like driving the new beast. The dealership had 4 08 limited's with the same options, I think I got a pretty good deal. I did not like the sales tax 9.8 percent, ( Ouch!).

Yes, I have seen Urban Runner in the DC area and Washington state, so they are available in at least some states on the lot. I ordered my last 4-Runner and many dealers are reluctant to do so. But, some will, but it will take about 3 months and they will only go so low on price since there is no incentive to get it off the lot.
Prius 0% financing & questions
by civicbuyer on Wed May 13 22:50:18 PDT 2009
Hello -- I had a great experience here about 4 years ago getting help with buying my Civic. Now I'm back and thinking of getting a Prius now that they have a 0% deal and WA state tax exemption going. Last time was the first time I'd ever bought a new car, so I still have questions! I may only want to buy the car at this time if I can get the 0% deal. If I can't get it, I'd prefer to wait awhile and look at my other options. My husband and I both have excellent credit, so I'm thinking if anyone can qualify, it should be us. How soon am I able to find out if I would qualify? Last time, financing was almost the last thing to happen. I called around to get quotes, then went down to test drive the car and spent some time waiting around for the finance guy to try and sell me all his junk. :) I was prepared with my own financing which they were able to beat. Also, I'm wondering: Do you suppose they only offer these 0% deals when the rest of the deal works for them -- i.e. purchase price? If I haggle the price down far enough, will they suddenly say "Ooooh sorry, no 0% for you" ? Seems logical (though disappointing). I think that's it for now. Thanks in advance!
WA price

Spidey, I think you're in the ballpark; a quick check of fitzmall.com (back East, so no Pkg 3's) shows $21.6-21.7 for Pkg 2, so add another $1K or so for Pkg #3 price in mid-high $22's. $22.3 is not an unreasonable offer at all. Am betting "special" look is an attempt to get you to back down...I get that one all the time. ;) But it also may mean they're just not going to play ball at or near that price, which is their right, in which case... Wonder what would happen if you e-mailed / faxed a few other dealers and asked for their best price on a pkg 3, citing Insight price and Prius 2010 features / prices. (I too am in WA and have one OR dealer who's *really* eager to earn my business -- emails me every 12 seconds or so.) In priuschat.com, a Toyota dealer hints broadly at add'l Toyota incentives coming May 4th (next week), so for that reason (and others) I'm sitting tight for now. dogs

I made an offer of $22,300 after $750 local WA state rebate for a 2009 package 3 and the dealer looked at me like I was special. Am I completely off base? I came to that # after studying the price points of the 2010 insite and prius and what I felt the car was worth. WA state also has no sales tax right now.
