Pacific Blue RAV4 4X4 V6 Base

I bought mine just one day after Xmas at Mark Miller Toyota in Salt Lake City, Ut. For you that might be in market in this area, here are some numbers for you. I hope they'll be helpful to you and help you get a good deal you'll be happy with. Vehicle Base Model ..........................: $24285.00 50 State Emissions ......................... Cargo Area Tonneau Cover with .............. 140.00 Multipurpose Cargo Net with Support Poles AM/FM 6-Disc In-Dash CD Changer w/ 6 ....... 200.00 Speakers, and MP3 / WMA Playback Capability Black Roof Rails & Crossbars ............... 220.00 17" 5-Spoke Aluminum Alloy Wheels .......... 440.00 w/P225/65R17 Tires and Full Size Spare ..... Tire on 17" Steel Wheel .................... Daytime Running Lights ..................... 40.00 Towing Prep Package - V6 3,500lb. Towing ... 160.00 Capacity - Includes Upgrade Radiator, Fan .. Coupling, Alternator, and Pre-Wiring ...... Rear Bumper Applique ....................... 75.00 Carpet Floor Mats/Cargo Mat ................ 199.00 --------- Total Accessories ...........................: $1474.00 Destination Charge ..........................: $ 645.00 Total .......................................:$ 26404.00 I also asked for 3rd party leather seats ...........:$ 1295.00 Total-Total MSRP.............................:$ 27699.00 Invoice (as per Edmunds, MSN Auto & Consumer Reports): $24860.00 (includes leather) I got it for: $25983.00 (1123 OVER invoice, but 1761 UNDER MSRP). Now if you can get a better deal more power to you but I am not sure about those claims of $500 over invoice, near invoice, etc. Don't get shocked when you go to negotiate, keep in mind that RAV4 doesn't have any rebates or incentives and the dealership might not be ready to cut you a killer deal. My negotiations weren't too bad but they weren't easy either. The year end bonus didn't apply to RAV4's. Toyotathon didn't apply to RAV4's. So, I wish you good luck. Remember, negotiate for fun, not for savings and you'll have a good time. (And save too.) If you do your homework first...

Also included the $ 214 optional carpeted floor mats listed on the window sticker. MSRP $ 25,130 + LE Pkg # 2 $1,040 and CF Carpeted Floor Mats $ 214 and $ 565 Delivery for bottom line $ 26,949. Edmund's does NOT include the factory $214 Carpeted Floor Mats option but gives TMV for the LE 7 w/pkg # 2 as $ 25,591. My friend paid $ 25,698 + Doc Fee, Utah Tire Recycle Tax $ 5, License and Registration Fee of $ 39, and Utah $ 150 Fee in lieu of property tax + Utah 6.6 % Sales tax. (He paid $ 107 for the $ 214 factory option and got the rest for TMV). Based on my understanding, non-residents of Utah do NOT have to pay Utah Sales Tax if not used or licensed in Utah. I do not know about the $ 150 fee, etc. He got it at Mark Miller Toyota Salt Lake City, UT 84101 from a regular salesman with NO haggling. He simply asked the salesman for their best price. Mark Miller additional Doc Fee of $ 239 is one of the lowest in the Salt Lake City area...altho higher than many parts of the USA. You may be able to get a better price closer to your home....but knowing names and addresses can help you negotiate with your dealer. If you want the salesman's name, write me at my address in Edmund's profile.
2005 V6 4WD MF Residuals
by earcom on Mon Aug 22 01:29:06 PDT 2005
My last 4Runner was a 1986 with the fiberglass top so it has been a while but I am considering returning to the fold with a new 2005 V6 4WD. Does anyone know the 12K (36-48months) residuals and money factors for August in Denver Region? Can the $500 incentive be combined with the possibility of low lease rates?

Was that for a Double Cab, Access Cab or what?

Just as a FYI: I stopped off at one of my local Toyota dealers today. They had two Tundra DC Ltds on the lotand a whole lot more SR5 DCs. I asked the salesman how much they were coming off the LTD models and right off the bat he offered up "a couple thousand". Based on what I'm hearing on these boards, that's pretty good. Although I think the closer and closer we get to fall and the arrival of the 2005 models, I think their willingness to deal on 2004 models will go up. This salesman wouldn't comment on the 2005 models and a bigger engine available on them. I took that to mean the rumors are true. I told him I'd be waiting for the 2005 model to buy.

That's a great story! You left out one thing though, what's the dealer's name and where is it located?
