Great buying experience at Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Chambersburg, PA: by deanv on Sun Nov 26 19:13:08 PST 2006; Thanks to this forum's info about Fitzmall.com, I checked their website for prices on FJ Cruisers and found they were selling for $400-$500 over invoice. I purchased mine for the exact published price with a few easy emails and phone calls. I live in Alaska, so it was important to me that the purchase went smoothly when I flew into PA. The purchase was even better than I had hoped. I was picked up at the Harrisburg, PA, airport by a great sales guy and was in and out of the dealership within an hour. The savings over buying from my local Toyota dealership more than made up for the cost of my trip to pick up the car and drive it 3,300 miles home. The trip was a vacation for me. Fitzgerald Auto Mall is a first-class group of dealerships. There's lots of information on their website about their pricing & it's well worth reading. I'd be happy to discuss further details of my FJ purchase and how I like the vehicle (love it!!) if anyone would like to message me.

I also contacted Costco and the Sams club auto programs. The dealer that Costco referred me to was firm at $400 over invoice. THe invoice costs did not agree with what was on this site. I asked to see the invoice and they said they did not provide that. I did not call them back. The dealer that I did make the deal with was straight up and said here is the deal, no haggle, and went smooth and found me the color I wanted the next day. COuld not be happier.

Re: buying sienna thru costco or carsdirect [fdogs1]: by philapa on Fri Aug 06 18:44:28 PDT 2004; Fdogs1, Costco provided me two dealers, one in Harrisburg, PA, and the second one in Newark, DE, thought I live in the suburb of Philadelphia, I was interest with the 04 XLE base. The dealer from Newark, DE told me I could get it for $1000 before MSRP, which I don't think it was bad. I have signed contract to purchase a 04 Honda Ody EX-L with RES for $26,571 before tax with destination. I think it is a better value, and I know it will be a old model when the 05 comes out in October, but I almost got $4000 discount from the MSRP. Good Luck.
