just "ordered" ltd: by nofeer on Fri Apr 23 16:10:21 PDT 2004; at nicholasville toyota i worked the following deal over email ltd,fwd, artic frost, fawn, z1 pkg#3 32,875 6-10 week wait, which is fine my local dealers would only deal with "allocations" one local sales dude didn't return my calls, found out "he doesn't work here anymore" most said running boards come on all ltd, we didn't want them, my wife and i all tall and they hit our ankles I feel this is good, about 1k above consumer reports invoice hope everything will work out i'll ask for a vin# and expected delivery date as per edmunds i'll wait till the last minute for extended warranty

ordered my ltd: by nofeer on Thu Apr 15 20:31:43 PDT 2004; artic frost, fawn fwd z1 #3 32850+ tax/tag several dealers said i got it below there cost and couldn't match it. I'm in eastern KY tried huntington, wv, portsmouth, columbus and nicholasville. ordered from nicholasville over the internet. dealer only asked for my credit card, no deposit, and if i don't like when it comes in don't have to take it.

fees, tda, doc $$$$: by nofeer on Tue Mar 30 16:21:42 PST 2004; in the KY, WV, OH area do they have those fees, and how do you know if they are legit???? I went to carsdirect and clicked on "invoice" as suggested but the tda didn't come up so then no tda??

Toyota does people wrong with there option bundles--to get parking sensor you have to get the ltd, can't the dealer add this I would think more people with kids want this option how long a wait for xle ltd is typical? my dealer who wants to sell his xle says 12 weeks

warranty: by nofeer on Thu Mar 25 17:41:49 PST 2004; does toyota have a site that descibes what they cover? and what they don't, and also when you can buy it. it seems it's another vague region the dealer can use lack of info to milk you. perhaps someone in the know can list the particulars thanks. i plan on getting a ltd with nav/dvd also i wish edmunds could email you when a response to your comment is made like at appleinsider.com
