Price 2007 LE Auto w Moonroof and VSC - Upstate NY: by mjvsk on Mon Jul 30 20:33:38 PDT 2007; I'm shopping for a new 4 cylinder Camry with auto transmission, moonroof, (and possibly VSC) in Upstate NY (near Albany) and would appreciate any feedback from members of this forum as to prices paid (before TTL)

2007 Camry LE: by cidxie on Fri Jun 29 19:56:21 PDT 2007; Bargain with the dealer for several days. I got the BASIC LE without anything at $21,600 for OTD. My location is albany, NY. Is this a decent price?

my experience: by tropics48 on Thu Aug 31 07:07:59 PDT 2006; We just bought our first Toyota, which is a 2006 Rav 4 v6 4WD Limited. We got it for $25850, and it included a tow prep package, and a few other things like the mats and stuff. Is that a decent price? I'm always afraid I'm going to feel ripped off after I buy a car. I wanted a different color, but it seemed like the only colors in my area were silver in the V6, and the dealer was honest with me in the fact that they could put a "request" in for one, but that doesn't mean they'll get it. Anyway, I'm looking forward to driving it, I've heard a lot of good things.....

It's quiet, competent with good fuel economy. Good luck! Be ready to go up if you want the car. They are at about $800 above their invoice. All those consumers report figures are irrelevant on a new popular model. If it was me, I wouldn't pay more than $23,600 total.

I am going to offer based on Consumers Reports Wholesale Price which is $22,120 less the 580 dest. The dealer offered $23,485+580=24065. I had seen Fitzmall and wish they were closer..seems pretty legit as opposed to the clowns around here. I am going to try to buy the car for $22,617+580=$23,197. If I can't get my price I can always go up. I am $868 away from the dealer. There is a $489 holdback on the car and the dealer invoice, according to consumers is $22,609.00 Do you like the car??....Best of luck with it....
