I pulled the trigger on a new 4Runner SR5 V6 yesterday. MSRP: $32,799, Invoce $29,240 Paid $25,279 before trade. $7,520 under MSRP, $3961 under invoice. This was in from Omaha. There had been slight hail damage which the dealer repaired and was not evident. I imagine he made some insurance money there.

Toyota Tundra Lease Info

Hi Carman, What are the current residuals and money factors on 08 Tundra's in the Omaha, NE area (KC region?)? I'm looking at an 08 Dbl Cab Tundra Grade with an MSRP of $31433 for 3yr/36k miles. Also, if you lease through Toyota, do you still get the incentives (currently $1500 if you buy)? I'm getting ready to talk numbers with a dealership and want an idea if whatever number they shoot me is fair or not. Thanks!!!

Bob, I read your input yesterday and it gave me lot of information. You are very professional on this subject. If you could also help me that will be great. I am living in Omaha NE. I am looking for a RAV4 4X4 based model. I checked local dealer's website and found one that I am interested in. This car is on based model that information is below.. Year:2008 Model:RAV4 Trim:4 Door 4WD SUV Exterior Color:Super White Interior Color:Dk.stone/Stone/Ash/Gray Transmission:4 Speed Automatic Engine:4 Cyl Price:$23,724.00 4 Speed Ect Automatic Transmission 2.4 Liter Dohc 4cyl Engine W/Vvt-I 16" Steel Whls W/Full Whl Cap,P215/70r16 Tires And Full Sz Spre Tire On 16" Stl Whl Fr And Rr Stabilizer Bars/4-Whl Disc Brakes Elec On-Demand 4wd /4wd Man. Lock Electronic Power Steering/4-Whl Ind Susp My questions are: what is the great deal on this car(I don't trade in my car)? would it make differences if I pay by cash? Do i have to buy CR cars buying Kit for $39 or $14? I had a test drive and emailed to local dealers. I got a quote from$ 22,319 to $ 22,674 from Kansa city, they told me RAV4 is on high demand, so they don't watn to lose $$$. I also emailed to Omaha dealers and I got no response. I appreciate your inputs! Thank you. Joanna

Well after a solid week of looking and soliciting quotes on the Odyssey and Sienna market the wife and I finally pulled the trigger. We went with the Sienna. It came down to liking the interior better than the Odyssey and overall felt like a higher quality vehicle. Odyssey definitley has the edge on exterior style, but lost our business on the PAX on the touring, and having limited options with the EX-L. Even with Honda dealer incentives we felt overall best value (and 08 model) was the way to go. Pricing is pretty simple and went as follows: MRSP $35,318 Paid $31,994 OTD (only exception is tax, title and license). Bought from Performance Toyota in Omaha, NE. Negotiated Internet quote before going in. Options codes were: CF, AW, EJ, FE, LF, QJ, WO, N1, RF. Basically leather, rear dvd, spoiler, blue tooth, etc. The kicker of the deal was probably the financing. Toyota came out with new financing incentives on Nov 1st if you hadn't looked. We took them up on the 0% 24 month route. Also had 1.9% for 36, I forget the 48-60 rates, but they were great. Only down side is they wouldn't give me what I wanted on my trade in. So I'll be selling that seperate, which may turn out better in the end. Was surprised they wouldn't take it at what I thought was discounted. I really didn't want the hassle, but also wasn't going to leave 50% on the table. Let me know if anyone has questions, forum was helpful for me, I'd like to return the favor.
