by gforce4 on Tue Mar 11 18:39:32 PDT 2008
I'm planning on leasing a Sienna LE for 3 years and need to know the money factor and the residual $ (or amount) in the Philly, PA area. LE 3ys lease; 15k/yr $4,200 in packages MSRP for all was $31,082 Next offer was for $28,084 includes all except 1st mt pmt and tags. Down payment factored in with a monthly pmt of $499. Is this a good deal?? What is the Money Factor & Residual for this van?? Help!

:surprise: WOW. Not to make you feel bad, but you really got taken to the cleaners. Also, the Edmunds True Market Value is a very bad indicator of what you should pay. With the way everything is and considering competition and the market you shouldn't pay a dime more than invoice minus the rebates on just about any car.

On 08/15/2007 I purchased this vehicle. Optional equipment is: side air bags all weather guard package ABS Audio/cruise control package Preferred accessory package (floor mats) Total MSRP: 17,680 Negotiated price: 17,332 Total price with fees: 18,435.42 Trade (95 Dodge Spirit V6 108,000 miles): -1000.00 After studying edmunds.com's various tools I realize I should have paid at least 500 to 700 less than this. Don't be a fool like me, get a True Market Value from edmunds and pay that price.

I agree, it's hard sometimes to find the Toyota you want. Most of the camry's, SE espically (what i was looking at), had a sunroof if not more. All I wanted was a spoiler and that was it. Ended up getting a VW that was on the lot in the exact color, MT, etc I wanted for basically the same price as a camry, can't complain there

dad23, I bought at the Boulder dealer, but the truck was transported over from the Stevinson West dealership. The guy I worked with over at Stevinson was inflexible and they had the only one in the color I wanted in town. Oh well.

I paid $18,050 back in February (including everything EXCEPT tax) for a manual transmission CE. The only extras it had was the carpeted floor mat set. I also got them to install the body side moldings for free. I agree, I don't need a power seat, and I can add keyless for about $200, so it makes no sense $$$ to get the LE. In my opinion, the manual transmission is the only way to go on any car! Now, most people don't agree (the wife would rather have automatic), but considering the money savings, it is worth it. Resale is at least 10 years (150,000+ miles) away, so the resale value reduction for the manual is not worth considering. Besides, if the automatic fails, it a big expense compared to a clutch replacement. No problems to report, other than a minor interior rattle, but only when really cold, and even then it goes away after the car is driven a few miles. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good Luck!
