Living in Biloxi MS and working in Mobile, AL. It is easier for me to try and deal with Mobile area dealerships. Having stated this I found an 04 SR5 at Palmers Toyota in Mobile, AL. It has the following: V6 17" Wheels -$100 Moonroof- $900 Running boards Roof Rack The XY-70 Toyo Protection Package - $699-- that we all don't want to pay for!! After a few discussions with the salesman we agreed on an OTD price of $26,997. I had all my quotes from area dealers, my edmunds.com estimate along with a Kelly Blue Book estimate. The salesman actually appreciated that I had done my homework to some degree. The OTD price included their admin fees of $299, and 1% AL state tax. They are a really good dealership, very high volume, and there was not one pressure statement made to me. Living in MS I will pay the 5% MS tax, then once ou get the tag purchased in MS. the State of Al reinburses you the 1% tax. So all told the SR5 will cost $27.9K. The big difference was the attitude of the dealership and the salesman. Much better than any of the New Orleans, Gulfport MS. or Pascagoula, MS dealers I talked too.
