i got my best deal through 'cars.overstock.c0m' and ended up buying through Lawrence Toyota's (NJ) Internet Dept. Worked w. Matt Bliffert with much of the paperwork via fax & email, even a signed Buyers Order. He's a pretty cool, easy going guy respects your personal info, so if you work with him, please dont piss him off and turn him into all the other horrible salesmen I dealt w/ 3 wks prior to Lawrence. overstock quotes can be gauranteed and non-negotiable.. but they CAN, and are allowed to charged for any extras that are already installed on the car. and ofcourse, just because they quote you, doesnt mean they have it in stock. MattB actually helped me find the car in MD and drove it up all within 3 days. for the record it was a rare 3rdRow, in a rare Pacific Blue @ the time, so it really felt like they tried pretty hard to get me what i wanted when all other NY/NJ dealers kept giving me other colors even after a few days of "searching".. and they STILL spam me 2 months later about buying a RAV4. ofcourse, they can also quote low and hammer on the fees.. but it's worth a look, worked out for me; maybe it'll work out for you too.

To further add to the confusion, there's the matter of the rebate/cash incentives, which is a regional thing. In my case, all the local Toyota dealers in the NYC area has the 1.9% financing for the Sienna but NO cash rebate. If I go outside to PA/MD there's a 1.9% OR $750 cash back. The way I have been shopping is using fitzmall.com prices as a base line. Fitzmall.com list their final price, invoice price and the MSRP. I use the MSRP to compare between dealers to make sure I am comparing apples to apples. The fitzmall.com price includes the $750 rebate which is why it may be lower than your local Toyota dealer's price if your local dealers are not eligible for the cash rebates. I was close to jumping on fitzmall.com deal of a LE 7 pass FWD with EVP 2 for around 24,600. But now I am looking at XLEs with either EVP1 or 2. Shopping for Toyotas can be a real pain with all the different packages and different incentives programs.

Hi kazanjig, Thanks for your response. No offense either, I want to hear about some of the deals out there. I looked at the website: fitzmall.com but I can't find anything for California. It looks like the great deals there are only in FL, MD, PA, VA and DC but this doesn't really help me. Did you get your deal through them? What state are you in? Good prices nonetheless! Thanks for sharing! I would like to hear about some other great deals in the state of California, then I can really compare apples to apples. Even then, I'm thinking my deal still could have been better..arrrggg!

I don't think Ltd is worth paying 4K more than XLE with #4. I believe you mentioned Leesburg in the past. Is it the same dealer who is offering this price. I am in the market for the same vehicle in DC/NoVa/MD and the best price before TTL I have seen is around $30600. What is the sales price on the XLE w/ #4 before TTL and where are you located? Which dealer is offering that price.

Consumer get rebates, dealers get the factory-to-dealer incentives. The dealer chooses whether or not to share that, but it does lower their cost. Also, here in MD it's better - you do no pay tax because they lower the price you pay. If you get a $1000 rebate you will pay $60 in taxes to the state of MD. You won't pay any tax if the dealer incentive is the same amount and they lower the price. This may vary by state, but I believe it's common.
