Yes, we bought it and that was our final price including the rebate. We bought in Missouri and live in Kansas so we had to pay tax and title seperately. I think we did "OK" on the price but I think we could have done better. If I had it to do again (I did a little more research), I think we could have done $500-$1000 better. It's hard to say though. Good luck!

Thanks dirtraven1. Would you mind sharing the name of the MO dealer? I've been trying to get hold of people at a Toyota dealership called MidWest Superstore in KS but no luck so far. I think my dealership gave me the great(er) price of 1500 and dropped it down to 1200 when I declined (which I also declined!).

Hi, did you buy it. We are also looking for LE-7. It will be very kind of you to let us know whether your price $25310 including rebate is final drive out price. Thanks so much.
Price Question from KS
by jcmls on Fri Mar 28 14:09:40 PDT 2008
Hello from Kansas. We are looking at purchasing an LE 7 psg with FE/AL/QF/CF/RL (emmissions, alloy wheels, value pkg #2, carpeted floor mats, running lights/deicer grid) with all weather mats and a 9.5" screen DVD (aftermarket, list $1165). We have a quote for $25,310 incl rebate.. Also, a trade-in for a 2000 Sienna LE 150k miles for $3k (KBB says trade-in of $4k but they won't budge). Total, $22,310. Would appreciate any comments, suggestions, etc. TY!

Yes, I've checked with Car max and the Toyota Dealer they have for new car is either in WI or MD(some where near there). And their price isn't better than what I have now from KS. About Cars Direct, yes, I've wrote them and they called me and left me a message telling me one of the local dealer will be in touch with me. However, nobody ever called. They probably figure I've called them before. I was thinking I could buy from Car direct as a friend of mine brought it via them in MD area. I guess TX just isn't one of their service area. About AAA, never tried. Just don't know they sell cars. The deal I have now is quite good, I'm happy.
2008 Limited V6 4x4 Texas
by jchan68 on Thu Jan 31 11:32:23 PST 2008
I've trying to get a good deal in Texas in the past 2-3 months. That was difficult. I've learn so much and would like to share my knowledge with others.. 1. Anywhere in gulf state, (Texas is one of them), their distributor add on extra "cosmatic" on Rav4 and so, the price is higher (I think and it's logical). Edmund invoice price isn't reflecting that. So, don't border to tell the dealer here about Edmund, they told me the price isn't correct. 2. Not too many limited 4x4 v6 in the area. In fact, as per my conversation with a dealership yesterday in Texas (600 miles away), there is no limited v6 4x4 without leather in the entire Texas area. If order one, may take more than 5 months time. That's how long they order one for their customer from NM. 3. I think based on the above facts, dealers here pretty much not open for negotiation. Take it or leave it attitude. This is for Limited v6 4x4... They don't worry to keep the car. 4. Oh, one important point, I was told from a dealer in KS. Rav4 purchased from gulf states, due to the changes made from distributor, be aware the warranty may not fully covered outside Gulf distict. This is not important if you're car isn't going outside Gulf distict. Ok, I'm closing up my buying project. I almost check prices in all the states. To get good prices for 2007 limited... go CA, San Francisco. I've got a good offer for black 2007 limited 4x4 v6, leather roof... fully loaded for $26.5K + ttl. But can't stand black color for the next 10/15 years... I'm ordering my car from KS for $27, 300+change + ttl + shiping. It's a Rav4 2008 limited 4x4 v6 with moonroof, JBL, tow prep package, day running light. Shipping is around $500-600. It's better than the only car they have in Texas with 1000miles and wanting $27,800 (600 miles away). I will be a happy lady after I put my order in this afternoon.
