Pauly in Crystal Lake, Ejgin Toyota in Elgin, and Fox Lake Toyota are all generally fairly competitively priced. Is the place in Kenosha a Carmax? if so, that would explain the LARGE PRICE DIFFERENCE. Carmax means "you paid too much".

I dickered for a loooooonnnnng time.

I haven't really haggled at all for either of these, got the quotes direct from their sales/internet guys. so there may still be room for negotiation good luck !

Tried the edmunds quote request service and submitted direct requests to almost all dealerships in the area including Schaumburg, Libertyville, Naperville, Lombard, Elmhurst & Elgin Toyota plus some others. Received competitive quotes from Elgin, Schaumburg and Elmhurst Toyota (Libertyville wanted me to come in before they would give a price, Lombard promised to get back but never did, never heard anything to this day from Naperville). Did all the negotiations by email and took the best quote to Arlington Toyota as I had done the test drive over there (closest to my place, will get car serviced here) and wanted to give them a chance to meet the price. They matched without any haggling and I ended up buying from them.

I went on to Edmunds and got the invoice price. The dealer quoted me a price of $17,500 out-the-door. My Corolla has a 6-CD changer, Sun/Moon Roof, Automatic, ToyoGuard just to name a few of the items. The LE comes with a lot of extra's. This is the first time I purchased a Toyota. Also, you should get a discount on the price because of the color you've chosen. When you're on Edmunds, you will see the pricing and ONLY go by the invoice. The dealers make plenty. If not on you, the next person that walks in uneducated on car buying. Good luck!
