Bad offer from dealer - can anyone explain?: by eka on Wed Mar 14 13:01:53 PDT 2007; Greeting to all - new board member here. I recieved the following offer from my local dealer (Dennison Toyota, Bloomington, IL): 2007 Camry SE, dark gray, sunroof, CD player, satellite radio (I have XM already) and aftermarket leather. Sticker was $ 25,025. Also, this will be the third Toyota that I have leased from this dealer. They told me the monthly payments would be $ 455 for 12k miles, 36 months. This seems extremely high, considering the historical residuals and low money factors. To complicate things furhter, last May I leased a 2006 Sienna LE, sticker $ 27,000, 12k miles/yr, 36 months for $ 356.00/month from the same dealer. I would have to think that this vehicle would have a favorable residual also. Any resonable explainations? Thank you in advance. :confuse:

St.Louis Sienna buying: by ross1 on Wed Jul 21 21:14:11 PDT 2004; In the St.Louis, MO region and really wanted XLE package. Inventory is tight and dealers were not willing to budge, especially for cars still to be delivered. Would only come down $1k from MSRP and only if in stock. I went out of town to Bloomington , IL and got an XLE package 16 for 33524, about 2200 discount and a few hundred less than edmunds TMV. Local dealers would not budge even after I had the quotes from out of town. Recommend shopping at dealer in Washington MO (Straatman Toyota), a short drive West of town if looking for a Sienna in the St.Louis area. They were very flexible and were willing to match the discount. However, they didn't have the color we wanted.
