2008 Prius: by prism3 on Sun Feb 24 08:04:11 PST 2008; I just bought a 2008 prius package #2 yesterday in Coeur D Alene, ID for 22,600 plus sales tax and $98 doc fee.

My experience has been terrible!: by mrsjenn25 on Wed Jul 19 08:36:12 PDT 2006; I will try not to rant too much here, but I have been absolutely astounded at how bad of an experience my fiance and I have had in buying this car from Parker Toyota in Coeur d'Alene, ID. We decided on the hybrid version of the camry because of my long commute to the office, and obviously since we live in a more rural area of the Pac Northwest we went into the dealership full knowing it may take a while for us to find a fully loaded TCH. So we did not get our hearts too set on getting this particular car. We had just wanted to take a look at it. It was to our surpise when the salesman said that they had one in Boise, and would have it transferred up. So we signed on it. One week went by and after I didn't hear from the dealership I called them, only to find out that the car had been sold from under us... so we were told that they could get one off of the next shipment from Japan.. in 6 weeks. So I wait for the call and sure enough 6 wks later I am told the delivery date will be 7-17 or 7-18. Well sure enough, as I could have guessed, that didn't happen. "Maybe by Thursday".... I am so tired of waiting for the thing. I know they are in high demand, but I don't think that customers should feel this exausted and upset by the service. I had never had my heart set on this car, and could have easily gone and purchased a Lexus for much less hassle... but a commitment is a commitment, I just wish our dealership cared. At least from reading the posts here, we won't be too dissapointed in the car itself :)
