I just purchased a van from Lowe Toyota in Warner Robins, Ga. If you want a good deal go somewhere else. I did all my research on edmonds and thought I was prepared to negotiate. Boy was I WRONG! You would have to be a snake to negotiate with the snakes they have working up there. They claim that edmonds is off in their figures but the only example they could site is the destination charge which I think was $50.00 different. They kept us there over three hours and I left with a sick feeling that we had made a bad deal and I was right. I wish I had walked out and never looked back. I will never go there again and I advise all reading this to go elsewhere. The Toyota van I bought is awesome. I have a 15 year old with Cerebral Palsy and the van is perfect for us. I just wish my stomach didn't hurt every time I think about how they worked me over up there. I think those of us who don't have the ability to out think the fast talking, lying, conniving sales reps should be able to hire a car buying agent to work the deal for us. I would pay for that service!

Davenow, I purchased mine from www.eddiewigginstoyota.com in warner robins, ga. if you are in the atlanta area, its about 120 miles south. and yes, i got my salsa red 2004 sienna XLE Limited, with GW ( #2 ) + dealer installed rear spoiler ( $399 ) + Toyogaurd plus ( $699 ) for an out the door price of ~$35800 on december 20, 2003. The van had 11 miles on it when i got it and was on the lot for about 3 weeks. I first came to know about this dealership only from this discussion board. if you search for bkb2003 on this discussion board you will find my earlier messages with more details on it. Also, when i first got a quote from eddiewiggins, i tried to ask my local dealer Atlanta toyota to match it. They would not match it so i went ahead and go the van from eddie wiggins. 2 days later, atlanta toyota called me back and said they will match it but it was too late. If you do not feel like travelling 120 miles, you can still negotiate with your local dealer. I know it will work. Best of luck in your search.
Good Price on Sienna XLE Limited
by bkb2003 on Sun Dec 21 18:39:32 PST 2003
After 2 months of following this discussion board, finally purchased by Sienna XLE limited yesterday for Eddie Wiggins Toyota in Warner Robins, GA. I was able to get it for $500 over dealer invoice. Here in Georgia ( SET territory ) the invoice prices are higher than what is quoted in edmunds.com. Basically, my price was $33415 + Tax (6%) + Title ( $21) + $399 documentation fees for a final walkout price of $35864. The dealer invoice was $32915 which as you can see was more than what you see in edmunds.com but very close to some of the other commonly researched websites. The vehicle details are Sienna XLE Limited -- Salsa Red. Options Center Console Box - GVAT Toyo Guard Plus - XY70 Rear Spoiler -- CX90 Carpet Mats -- PV70. I can provide more details if anyone needs it.
Dealers Near Atlanta,GA Who Seemed Good or Not Good

Dealers that did NOT work out. I’m focusing on Toyota Dealers because those were who I tried to close deals with. Classic Toyota in Milledgeville, GA. I had a bad experience with Classic. They e-mailed me that they would “make this [determining who to buy a van from] easy” for me- that they would sell the 2004 Sienna to me for $200 over invoice. After talking to them and believing they were serious, I stopped actively searching for a better deal. But the dealer from Classic Toyota said he had to find a vehicle before he could give me a price. He waited several days, said he found one and would need a deposit. When I said I needed the final price before I gave a deposit, he took at least another day, and then sent a price that was $1,500 over invoice, NOT $200 over the invoice listed on Edmunds.com and other web sites. When I asked where the discrepancy was between $200 and $1,500 over the invoice according to my #s, he asked if the invoice price I had seen included the “extras”- specifically, “Toyaguard” or something like that. I said I didn’t want any “extras”. The dealer from Classic said he couldn’t take them off. I said then we no longer had a deal. He said okay. By this time, they had wasted about a week of my time that I could have spent actively shopping with. Based on my experience with them, I would recommend NOT going to Classic Toyota in Milledgeville, GA. Sandy Springs Toyota in Atlanta. I had read a negative post about them on Edmunds’ discussion board about them requiring a deposit and giving noncompetitive prices. I won’t go into details, but I agree. Eddie Wiggins Toyota in Warner Robins. The dealer I worked with at Eddie Wiggins was very nice. But they took a couple months before they would even give me a price and when they did, it was much higher than other offers I had been given elsewhere. When I asked them to go lower, they said they would have to get back to me- which seemed to always be the case, they always had to get back to me, the next day, next week, and then the next day again. I would try Eddie Wiggins again, but would make it very clear up front WHEN I expected an offer from them or would ask to speak to a sales manager up front. They just seemed to really drag things out. Dealers besides Pitts Toyota in Milledgeville that I thought were good: World Toyota in Atlanta: They gave good offers up front and e-mailed a detailed price quote to include all costs, fees and taxes, with a picture of the type and color of vehicle they were offering the same day or within one day of the time I asked for an offer. Carey Paul Honda in Snellville GA, Honda Carland in Roswell GA and Sunny King Honda in Oxford, AL had the best prices out of 13 dealers I contacted. They offered from $862 - $925 over invoice for a new '03 Ody EX (in the order they appear above). Sunny King even offered to deliver the van to me without me asking them to.
Highlander limited 2wd UNDER invoice!!!
by rlambertinga on Mon Apr 29 10:52:39 PDT 2002
I DID IT!!!!! I just drove home my Silver Highlander Limited with 2wd. Here is my unbelievable deal: Price of silver limited 2wd with GRAY CHARCOAL leather, 6 disc changer, tow package, and toyo guard (yes I Know . . . ) 28,600 (no trade-in). This includes destination charges of 510.00 and southeast administration charge of 590.00, so 28,600 plus taxes of 2002.00 plus 21.00 title and 399 clerical fee for 31022 out the door! I think buying inventory at the end of the month helped. I even had an autobytel dealer 2 hours away offer to get the same car for 28,400 but to me if wasn't worth saving 200 when my local dealer was willing to be so competive. I bought at Eddie Wiggins in Warner Robins, GA. I will post on the other board about the great service we received at this dealer and others that got into the bidding game.
