I would check out the south FL dealer Earl Stewart in north Palm Beach, ask for Peter Rosenblum in internet sales. They charge no dealer fee & knocked off $3200 from MSRP on our HIHY Limited w/sunroof et al & also beat our local dealer on the trade. Good luck ! Bill in Daytona Beach FL

If you are located anywhere near Earl Stewart of North Plam Beach FL, they are worth the trip, selling all Toyotas w/o any dealer fees as well as under factory MSRP. We saved $4,000 on a 2008 HIHY from the dealer here in Daytona by going to Earl Stewart & ask for Peter Rosenblum in internet sales. Good luck Bill in FL
No Dealer fees on 2008 HL Hybrid

We shopped all around Daytona, with in 300 miles & we found only one dealer that discounted the HL Hybrid & added ne dealer fee or dealer sticker. This is Earl Stewart in North Palm Beach FL & we delt with Peter Rosenblum in their internet sales dept who is a real gentleman. We were offered $3,200 off of the factory MSRP on a Limited with Nav & sun roof along with no dealer fee ! We figure that we saved over $4,000 including trade & pricing, from the dealer here in Daytona. Do a Google search to locate the web site & tell Peter that Bill French sent you. Good luck !! Bill in FL :)

I hope it all works out for you. May I share one caveat and offer one piece of advice for you? When dealer offers are very different as has happened for you, shift to an OTD (out the door) price as the figure of negotiating. Some will offer numbers that include destination fees, some will not.....watch for this! An OTD is exactly that and if you get to the settlement table and the figure differs from what was negotiated, WALK! Always use a credit card for deposits as they can be easily cancelled if needed. Once the dealership has your money, it is very difficult to get it back without buying a car from them. This is one way many dealers take the buyer's leverage away.

If it includes state tax, tag, title, registration...you have a nice deal for this time frame of year after the 07's hit the market. Not knowing your state or it's sales tax percentage, it's hard to know what the dealer will make on your deal...but it's pretty good.
Re: What's on a dealer invoice? [007lev6]

Hi: I listed post 2658 too. Forget THEIR invoice, it does not show what they payed, it shows a fictional cost sheet. Cost and amount payed are very different things. LE-V6 MSRP 23,040......invoice 20505 CF mats 189..........inv 115 AW alum whe 410.........inv 328 leather is dealer installed in a LE series Looking at the fictional invoice above, I assume you live in SE US. Your offer: 20,505 x 5% = 21530 + CF mats 149 + AW wheels 368 + .75 of dealer leather cost + 635 destination in SE US + 634 Admin fee (must include Title, tag, registration ---------------------- Your offer Your grocer, lawyer, and Walmart all of costs of doing business. They don't make you pay advertising, utilities costs, etc., so don't take dealer supplied invoices with much credibility. Good luck to you.
