Negotiated the price for 2012 HL Limited with almost all features (Nav+DVD, Tow, CT, 3T, WL, RB, MF, Exhaust Tip, Door Edges) for 39875, is it a good deal? Getting 1.9% for 5 yrs (or) 0% for 3 yrs. I wish they would give 0% for 5 yrs. What do you think of the price? Is it good deal? Getting what we wanted in terms of Exterior color and interior trim. Pls let me know.

Price paid in CT for a Prius IV by jsct on Thu Jan 26 07:26:43 PST 2012

I just purchased a 2011 Prius IV. In the CT region (and I think NY too) the current incentive is $750 cash or 0%. We took $750 cash. Here's what I got: Prius IV, base w/ MSRP $28,080. Price paid after $750 rebate: $25,228 +400 doc +TTL. That's appx. $2800 under MSRP. I used TrueCar.com to obtain pricing from several different zip codes in larger metro areas (NYC, Boston). I talked to the TrueCar dealer to be sure they actually had a car to sell that met my specifications (often they don't). I then called local dealers to see if any would match. I've tried this in the past with other vehicles and it never worked. I've always ended up traveling to the larger dealerships. But this time the local dealers were willing to work with us. The process was very smooth. I'm happy with the outcome. Hope this helps someone.

Camry SE in CT by jhart333 on Sat Dec 31 22:51:47 PST 2011

After much back and forth in calls upon calls to about seven dealers here in Connecticut, I signed today for a Camry SE with power seat, carpeted mats, all-weather mats, bumper applique, mudguards, door sill enhancer, and new plates for the OUT THE DOOR price of $23,467. No trade-in. This includes Conn.'s 6.35 percent sales tax and $175 for a new registration. Buying the last day of the year really saved me some bucks. Five dealers dropped out of the pricing death match and I had a great price from Hartford Toyota. But that salesman wouldn't call me back, so just before I drove there prepared to fight in person for the price he had agreed to on the phone, I called two more Conn. dealers. One said "If you can get it at the price, buy it." Then Hoffman Toyota called back and agreed to beat it by $250 plus add the doorsill enhancers. They were super easy to deal with, honored everything they said they would, no games, no hassles. Kudos also to Middletown Toyota. They were great to deal with, but just couldn't the price Hartford had promised me. Thumbs way down to Hartford for not calling me back after I left two messages. Thanks to all who posted here previously. You all helped me make my deal. Picking up my cosmic grey mica with black/black interior from Hoffman Toyota next week. I can't wait.

Re: 2012 Sienna 8-pass V6 LE FWD, NY/CT/MA price ? [xinxinren] by jjjohn64 on Wed Dec 21 17:37:07 PST 2011

The dealership where I bought my Sienna from is Schaumburg Toyota. It is at 875 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194. Please note that I got this price only because I bought the extended warranty. Had I not bought this warranty, they wouldn't have given me the Sienna at this price. They gave me $135 discount on remote starter (Pursuit Series Model PRO-9056TW) and mudgards (totaling $660). So they reduced the price of the car to 27465 from 27600 and added 660 to the total cost. I am going to return the extended warranty within 30 days as I think I overpaid for it considering the St. Louis dealer is selling the same 8 yr/100k platinum warranty for less than 1000. Also note that since I paid for the remote starter and mudguards on the day i bought the car, these things got included in my warranty. Although the remote starter is after market. At least this is what I was told. I am not sure how much of it is indeed true.
