Bed [ocautoseeker]: by mrvman on Mon Apr 28 16:21:34 PDT 2008; I just got off the phone with a Toyota dealer and I was told that the invoice on a Tundra limited, DBL cab, 4X4, std bed, 5.7LV8 is $35,947 on top of the invoice price is TDA=$700, $10 in gas, $771 holdback! for a total of $37,428 this is invoice? I asked if these charges were "packed" into the invoice and he said everyone except Toyota "packs them in", is this true? I guess shipping is "packed" into the invoice? This is the invoice price with no options. I thought the holdback was refunded to the dealer so why am I going to pay it? Are these charges normal? Thanks for the time, I would like to buy the truck until this came up. These information is from Phoenix AZ.

My dealer has been exemplery in all respects. That was more important to me than a few dollars. Funny thing back when we first bought our '04 Prius was getting the color we wanted. Blue was a must and that was worth the wait (3 months). to us.

Pacakge 2 in AZ: by goldmantx on Tue Apr 15 21:10:51 PDT 2008; I was quoted a price of $22,764 for a Silver Metallic w/Package #2 OTD (+TTL). They have some other fees included in this price but so far this is the best I've seen as they can't keep the pkg #2 in stock. What does everyone think?

'08 Yaris Liftback manual trans: by speedypt on Mon Apr 07 22:50:45 PDT 2008; I bought mine (Blazing Blue ... love that name of paint) at Larry Miller Toyota in Peoria AZ for $13,315 OTD with the following options: 1. Convenience pkg (CD/MP3, 15in steel wheels with covers, rear wiper and defroster) 2. All-Weather Guard pkg 3. Carpeted floor mats 4. Factory Fog lights 5. Tinted windows. So far I'm getting amazing mileage (38.5 mix highway/city), the car is very quiet, and the clutch - shifter are very good for this inexpensive car. I would definitely recommend this car to others trying to save on gas. I normally drive 3000-4000 miles per month for my job, and that was in a Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 1500LT. My average gas mileage was 16.7 mpg. What I'm saving on gas by driving the Yaris is more than paying for buying the 2nd car (gas, insurance and monthly car payment).
