Outstanding Deal!: by jwarthman on Thu Oct 28 23:11:46 PDT 2004; Well, after years (literally :-) of lurking on this site, I'm finally pulling the trigger tomorrow. I contacted 11 dealers in Phoenix and the surrounding area, and settled on a dealer in Prescott, AZ. It's a bit of a drive, but keep reading, and you'll see why that's not an issue. I'm getting a 2005 Limited V6 4WD (Titanium). In the Denver region, I've learned that virtually all such 4Runners come standard with the following:    Moonroof (SR)    Rear spoiler (RF)    X-REAS (NH)    Mats (CF)    JBL Synthesis with 6 CD changer (EJ)    Side curtain airbags (GY)    Daytime running lights (RL) Including the destination charge and TDA (advertising fee), the MSRP for this vehicle is $40,251. Invoice is $35,732. I'm getting it for $632 BELOW invoice. :-) And he's throwing in the cargo net at no charge. Not only that, but he's giving me a very, very good deal on the Toyota Platinum 7/70,000/zero deductible extended service plan. I'm not going to ask anyone's opinion whether this is a good deal - I think I know the answer! I'd like to thank the people on this and other 4Runner boards for much valuable advice. Enjoy! -- Jim
