Trying to buy 2008 Highlander Hybrid Limited

I am looking for some direction on the purchase of a 2008 Highlander Hybrid Limited; Waveline Pearl/Tan; all options. I live in the Scottsdale, AZ; known for having very unfriendly auto dealers. I have driven the exact vehicle with all the options and I believe it is a great product. The caveat is I am not at this time willing to pay MSRP. Factually there is over $6,000 difference between invoice and MSRP. If you add in dealer holdback there is almost $8,000 in profit at MSRP. I am trying to find any dealer, in the Western region, that will take an order on this vehicle, deliver it at any point in the next 3-4 months at a price that is reasonable to both dealer and buyer. Any suggestons?

Well, my guess is that they are DEALING because just yesterday in Scottsdale, AZ I saw 8 Priuses lined up in the Toyota lot. I've never seen that many in one place for sale before in the Phoenix area.

I purchased my 2007 Limited with navigation last week. I have pretty much tried out everything. We love it. Comfortable ride, great Nav, back-up camera, bluetooth. Extremely nice car. Bought it in Scottsdale, AZ from Right Toyota. They are a great, no-nonsense dealer--my 3rd vehicle from them. Great price on a vehicle which is hard to come by. Was worth the wait.

I purchased a new 06 Solara SLE V6. Fully loaded with all the options except for navigation. Got it for $26,015. Bought it from Right Toyota in Scottsdale, AZ. All the internet departments at delaerships around the valley I spoke to quoted me the same price, but Scottsdale was the only dealership that gave my the plates fees, doc fees, and tax fees along with the price. So I knew exactly what I would be paying.

On March 16, '05, I bought from internet dept of Scott Toyota in Scottsdale. VERY pleasant experience, all done thru email/phone, as I am 100 miles away. Got '05 Highlander Limited in Salsa Red V6 2wd. MSRP was $33,714. I Paid $30,280, then they took off the $750 rebate, I think it is now $800. re: V6 vs 4cyl....I chose V6 due to higher expectations on resale value. Recent round trip to Vegas returned 25mpg overall...about 50 miles of city driving in Vegas, and A/C use at all times. AND, I don't drive slowly... Very satisfied....

Yesterday I inked my deal with a Scottsdale, AZ Toyota dealer.. XLE LTD FWD Phantom Gray with Stone Leather HO Package 6 - DVD/NAV Z1 - mats, door sills, cargo net RB - Color keyed running board RF - Color keyed spoiler (yes, RORR, a spoiler :) ) Gold package (emblems & logos) Got my deal at $600.00 over invoice. Over $5000 off MSRP! Oh how I enjoyed emailing the other dealers who laughed at me when I requested my original quote........ Happy to share my experience with anyone who would like the details, or is in the Phoenix area needing a Sienna. So DAVENOW, Impact, and many others - THANK YOU. and also a big thank you to everyone who contributes to these boards. It certainly has made an absolute difference in they way my whole car buying experience has gone... You guys & gals all rock !! I expect our new gray bundle of joy in 6-8 weeks..
