They have a great team to assist you to buy a new car, understand your needs and help to provide the best deal. They do all that they can to do the business but do not "pest" you to do the business. Really a great company and I will do business again.

Thank you Jay Wilson for helping me upgrade my basic model 2017 Jetta to a fully loaded 2019 Jetta SEL while lowering my payment!! Honest, dedicated to serving your customer and looking out for their best interest is how I would describe Jay. I've been enjoying driving it for 5 days and it is such a step up in handling, smoother ride and less road noise. Love the sound system! The whole process of the purchase was superb. Best Car-Shopping Experience!

My experience at Hewlett Volkswagen was one that was unequivocally the best experience I had during my search and purchase of my 2018 Tiguan in the stylish Habanero Orange. My first point of contact was with Amanda who communicated with me online weeks before my purchase. Initially, the vehicle that I wanted wasn't on the lot. However, Amanda did a follow-up call and stated that she could find the car I wanted, have it delivered to the dealership, and best of all, offer me the best price for it. She was well informed and treated me with kindness and respect. When I went into the dealership, Amanda introduced me to Santos. Santos helped with my test drive, explaining all of the great features on the vehicle, and got me situated with all the numbers. He worked with the staff to get me the exact car I wanted and had it delivered in one day's time. When I finally came back and had to fill out the paperwork, Santos was patience, educated, and was able to answer any and all questions leaving me without buyers remorse. Even my time in the business manager's office was a great one. I felt treated with respect, honesty, as well being treated like I was an actual person and not just a sale. I greatly appreciated my time here and will be recommending Hewlett VW to my friends and family that are in the market to buy a car. Thanks again!

Totally Happy

I have been vehicle shopping for 3-4 months. I performed my due diligence and tested all the competition and the Atlas was my personal winner. My next process was determining what VW dealer to purchase my vehicle at. I spent considerable time at other VW dealers that "appeared" to offer a significant discount. I learned (painstakingly) all the catches and additional charges at these other dealers. These other dealers almost convinced me to abandon the Atlas and move on to my 2nd place vehicle. Tom Henry (and Tiffany) were completely honest and straight forward. Tom knew everything about the product and all the Trim levels. The, multiple, test drives were all without pressure and helpful. I knew exactly where I stood and what discounts were available for me. I received a fair trade in value (which took hours of arguing at other dealers). The additional options where presented clearly without the huge markup at other dealers. At no time during the entire process was there a "catch". I'm extremely happy with Tom and will let others know where to look for a fair deal.

Best Car Buying Experience in my 30 yrs of buying!

This was the first auto purchase experience that I can say I actually enjoyed. Our salesperson, Chris Rittenhouse, was easy going, answered questions honestly, and made my wife feel comfortable during the process. The sales manager, Brett, was great - I appreciated the openness of his office space - it made it feel like he was on our side, not some wizard in another room. The overall process was fantastic.

Love the Hewlett Dealership - everyone is very courteous and professional. Seem very welcomed and our salesman Santos has always been very straightforward - not something easy to find among car sales people. They offer great new experience (3 of our Jettas) and used (1 of our Jettas) - reliable dependable - Service is thorough yet never tries to slip in something you don't need.

Best Experience

This is the best experience I have ever had in buying a new car. Chris Denem answered all my questions clearly and completely. He told my son and I all about the car. He took me around to meet the staff at the dealership including the service area personnel. Whenever I arrived at the dealership, Chris was there to meet me and make sure my needs were met. I am posting on my neighborhood Facebook page about my experience today. Again this was the best experience I have had buying a car...no games just straight forward information and answers.

Have bought 2 Jettas now

Have bought 2 Jettas from Hewlett - treated the right way from the beginning. No pressure sales / fair and reasonable on trade in values / and process is swift and pleasant. Have had 2 sales people for the 2 cars: Travis and most recently Santos. Professional and knowledgeable, really know these cars. Worked and talked with John (MGR) on both deals and he is also very fair and helpful. Also shout out to Debbie Benson who was very helpful in getting this process started and made sure all my concerns were addressed.

Pleasant experience

I wanted to trade my 2009 Suburban for a commuter car. I looked at the 2016 Honda Civic and VW Golf. Jay Wilson was one of the most easy to work with sales persons and accommodated my multiple requests for test drives. This helped me feel confident about my choice for a 2016 Gold SE with driver assist and HID lighting package. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and have no regrets. Also, he advocated for my desired Suburban trade in value with the sales manager which sealed the deal for me. Jay was always available and never made me feel like I was troubling him when asking to test drive many versions of the Golf on different days. Finally, the actual purchase process was pretty painless. Brett Hill the sales manager and Gabriel Funza the finance manager helped expedite the process. Gabriel presented the best

Straight answers, nice people, no tricks - GREAT CAR

I was looking for a red GTI with specific features. Hewlett had one coming in on the boat into Houston, beat the price of other dealers, and - most important - gave prompt, straightforward answers to my specific questions. No patronizing, no flummery, no changing the deal. I love the car, thoroughly enjoyed the day buying, was not pressured to buy stuff I didn't want, though I was presented with the opportunity (well OK, I was persuaded to get the super-magic coating that will keep the car from fading or eroding from bird poop). Pat, the salesman, explained clearly and patiently the many features of the car and made it clear he would welcome questions after we drove away. A delight.

The staff at Hewlett Volkswagen is truly amazing. I am new to Volkwagen having driven Fords for 35 years and had trouble figuring out which car was best for my needs. Happy Golf Owner

On Monday of this week I expressed interest in a vehicle via Hewlett VW's website. I was contacted shortly there after by Debbie following up on my inquiry. She was very helpful with making sure the vehicle was still available by going as far as to take photos of it from their lot in this Texas heat(Did she have a flame retardant suite on?) and sending me as much info as she could about it. I was unable to make it over to the dealership until Wednesday evening, but in the days between I received phone calls and text messages from Debbie checking that I was fine and that I was still interested. When I arrived on Wednesday around 7pm I was met almost before I could exit my vehicle by Jay Wilson(I think he may be telepathic, watch out), who Debbie had said was going to be my salesperson. We exchanged handshakes and warm greetings as he lead me to my potentially new vehicle. We did the normal walk around, overview and test drive. I did not have many questions upon returning to the dealership so we started the numbers process with Jonathan Blank(sales manager). Jonathan and Jay both helped me through this painless process with great ease. After discussing "the numbers" and coming to an agreeable term it was time for Jonathan to put his powers to work and get me financed. I then met Larry Chabert the finance manager who took me(the last customer of the evening also 9pm)to his office and finalized all that Jay and Jonathan had set up. After about 10 or so minutes I became the owner of my vehicle. I could not be happier with Hewlett VW. This is the Second VW I have purchased from this location and I will buy from them again. Thank you to all who have helped me this week in finding my next VW family member. V W 4 LIFE

Best Car Buying Experience Ever

We were "walk-ins" into the Dealership and were greeted by Barry. I just wanted to show the Touareg to my wife because we talked about it on our way down from Dallas. Barry showed us the car and told us he had a great CPO model. After a test-drive we were hooked on the car. Absolutely no pressure or other sales tactics were used which is something unheard off at least for us. We have gained a new friend that day. For the next few days we were visiting all Dealerships in the area which had Touaregs for comparison shopping purposes. Besides the fact that none had an acceptable unit we were appalled on how some other dealers conduct business, especially the one in South Austin. I called Barry and we settled on the final terms of the deal. We picked up our Treg two days ago and the whole process was a breeze and very pleasurable even the paperwork with Gabriel. I can only praise this dealership and it will be our first and only destination next time we need a car. Thanks so much for restoring the image of car dealerships ! We are impressed.

BEST Ever!

I bought a 2011 VW Jetta from Hewlett Volkswagen and boy am I glad I did. This was hands down the BEST car buying experience imaginable. I not only got the price I wanted for my trade I also got the price I wanted for the car. Doris and Gabriel were literally jumping through hoops for my wife and I. We have never had that ever. Now, here's the best part, not only did they beat the pre-approval I walked in there with, Gabriel called me two days AFTER the sale was finalized to get me a better rate, because he felt the original rate wasn't good enough for us. That's right, he called AFTER the sale was complete and demanded a better rate for us on our behalf. Are you serious? That is ridiculous awesome for us! We cannot wait to be in a position to go back and buy another car. No one has ever treated us this good! Oh, and they have in house Allstate insurance there and slashed in half our current insurance WITH better coverage. Thank you Cindy! Hands down BEST car-buying experience EVER!

No hype, no dealer add-ons, no games or lies. We came in to drive a Sport Wagen and bought a CPO Passat. Doris and Brett were a nice as they could be. Staff is professional and courteous. We negotiated a fair price. Our Passat was spotless inside and out. I drove 5 cars and asked lots of questions. No hestitaton to recommend Hewlett VW

Hewlett VW Did it Again!!!

On a day that I went in only for a service appointment, the showroom of Hewlett VW caught my eye so I tippy toed over to the new car sales and ask the receptionist that I had questions on a vehicle but did not want a sales person to be "dinged" by a no sale as I only had questions on the difference between the CC and Passat AND the Audi used vehicle that was outside. The team assured me that all would be ok and I was introduced to Pat McG. Pat was patience and very informative and showed a personal approach to the overall picture of my family, life situation and put the puzzle together of what would really work for the sake of myself and my sons. Very patient and responded to all my calls immediately to include my emails. It takes a team to make a sale and by gosh - Pat and the team won me. I now am the owner of a new Passat which works for my life needs. I loved my CC and I love Hewlett therefore I turned to Hewlett again and I truly feel comfortable in my experience and new car. Thank you again!

Great Experience

We were coming out of a situation with a car that should have been considered a lemon. The car came from your sister company. We were a little leary buying from the same family of dealerships. After all was said and done, we feel that Don Hewlett did do everything in its power to make the situation right. Your staff at Don Hewlett VW was nothing short of exceptional! We had an absolute pleasure dealing with Alvin, Mike and Gabriel. We will definitely buy from here again. We bought a 2014 VW Tiguan SEL and love it! Many thanks LB

Do not buy from Hewlett

I bought a Demo 2013 Volkswagen Passat with 5,400 miles. It was sold as a new car. My car has a 35,000mile/3 year warranty. I was told that my warranty would start at 12 miles, not the 5,400 miles that were already on the car. (This was after already agreeing on a negotiated price and just going through the paperwork). I explained that I had bought an '08 Jetta Demo with 3,000 miles and that my warranty picked up at the 3,000 mile mark. Hewlett told me that "special rule" ended in '09. (I bought my car in '09). Hewlett said it was out of their control, so I explained I would be contacting Volkswagen America to resolve the warranty issue. I contacted Volkswagen America and they said it was up to each individual franchise dealership whether or not to start the warranty at zero mils or at the miles driven off the lot by the new owner. I also found out through Volkswagen America that my warranty began October of 2012, not September, 2013, when I bought the car. I was not explained this when signing papers. That date is on my papers and I know it is my fault, but I was trusting the salesman when he told me this says "........", sign here. Bottom line, Hewlett could have and should have started my warranty at 5,400 miles and at Sep., 2013. I could go out right now and buy a certified used Volkswagen with low miles and be given an additional 20,000 mile warranty. It does not make sense they would not make this adjustment on the warranty. They lied about the "special rule," as they could have started my warranty at 5,400 miles and they were not up front about my warranty starting in 2012, instead of 2013.
