Carr Subaru in Beaverton seems to generally have the lowest pricing in Oregon. I believe it's all "no-haggle", what you pay is what's on the window. After $1500 rebate, invoice is around $19,000, not including any taxes and fees. That's the highest I'd pay, and you should be able to get even lower than that. UPDATE: I just checked Fitzmall online and they've got a manual '08 Forester for $18,565. That gives you a good target price.

Thanks jeffmc! I got it at Kendall in Eugene. I also quoted at Carr in Beaverton, but they can't beat this price. ;)

Wow, nice deal, ukyo2! Forester X has become an incredible value with the current prices available. $18,500 for an AWD vehicle with good utility, class-leading safety, excellent reliability and resale, lots of standard equipment and good power and handling... pretty amazing... what else even comes close at that price? Did you pick that up at Carr in Beaverton?

Good deals are available. Carr in Beaverton had the X Sport on ad this weekend at $17,995.

Carr Subaru in Beaverton. #1 Subaru dealer in the nation. They have good ad deals. Make up the loss in volume and used car sales. For good deals in the NW you just watch the weekend ad prices.

I think your target price is going to be tough to get. Worth shooting for but I think $17k is more realistic. See how low they'll go. I assume OTD doesn't include sales tax. NW pricing is competitive. Don't remember if the 06 Subies are 50 state emmisions legal though. Carr Subaru in Beaverton has good weekend ad prices. List prices (including internet prices) are nutty. Carr is the #1 Subaru dealer in the nation. That being said, I've found better used deals at other dealers. Honestly, I'd consider a brand new 07. Manuals are listed at $18k all the time around here.
