I didn't get hard numbers (I'll get them Monday), but my salesman was talking mid 33K for a loaded Limited with Nav, XM radio and a few other options that came in at 37,515 (my kids don't deserve the factory DVD player, and I 'm not impressed with the set up as the earphone jacks are in the thrid row seating area, only on one side). I'm betting that Subaru will lower the money factor on the Tribeca to get some movement on this vehicle in July/Aug. 07' Inventory is pretty small, or at least from what I've seen, and the salesmen are chomping at the bit to sell the 08's. I could be wrong on the money factor, but I can't see Subaru not bending over a little to get some traction on this model. Once they're on the street, they'll bring their numbers back up. Also, it's dead summer where money factors on the new year's model traditionally start out lower. Bo

Try contacting other local dealerships through the internet and tell them what you've been offered. Find your best offer and give your favorite dealership the chance to match it. Some dealers are more willing to bend at the end of the month, but with the '07 Foresters now arriving, I think they'll want to move their inventory NOW. If you happen to be in the Northwest, I like Carter Subaru in Seattle. Very no-nonsense through the internet. Folks here in the forums also say very good things about Fitzmall in Maryland (they also show locations in PA and FL). Check them out online, too.

Re: 2006 2.5i Automatic Limited price [tibba]: by mknapp on Wed Jul 05 18:32:40 PDT 2006; I ended up paying $24,500 OTD for Outback 2.5i Limited Auto, autodim w/homelink, all weather mats, and security upgrade....and I ended up getting the green. I was debating between the green and the blue......I liked both a lot, but ultimately chose green. I also took advantage of the 2 year 0% financing. Anyway, we went on our first trip in the car over the weekend and got about 27mpg and enjoyed the drive greatly!!!

2006 2.5i Automatic Limited price: by mknapp on Fri Jun 30 05:51:27 PDT 2006; I was just quoted $24,764 with the following options auto-dimming rear view mirrow with compass and Homelink, armrest extension, and a security system schock sensor. So basically it is $5000 off of MSRP.......do you think I can do better? They are doing "the end of the month" thing and trying to get me to complete the sale today.......I'm not quite ready to take the plunge. :P Thanks, Melinda
