It depends on inventories, there's a chance it'll go to $2000 like the base model but you never know. We had a $2000 rebate on the base Forester for the 2004 closeout and once they sold enough cars it went to $1500.

I had someone order an Outback when the rebate was $1000, now it's $1500, he wins...always a toss of the dice with Subaru, they like to give and take.
