"Find me a Newport Blue Pearl LL Bean sans NAV, preferably PZEV model, and we'll talk." For the heck of it, I checked the 21 nearest dealers to me in WA & OR... only 1 blue Beaner left ( :surprise: ) & it's got NAV. Most of the small dealers didn't have any Beans at all. Good luck finding one in NE, juice. Order the Limited already! :P

Try www.sne1.com to search the inventory of the entire New England area. It's a good start to find what you need. Pick the closest dealer by Zip Code. If he doesn't have the one you want in stock, he can order from other NE dealers.
CA Purchases vs. Buying Elsewhere

In watching these posts, I've noticed that buyers in Mid-Atlantic and NE states consistently seem to get the best deals on their new Subarus. Even factoring in more stringent emissions controls in CA, why is there such a difference, especially since I understand that most, if not all, Subarus arrive in the US via CA. Am I mistaken, or what?
`07 OB Purchase
by dudleyf on Tue Oct 10 07:09:12 PDT 2006
Just bought a fresh-off-the-truck `07 Outback LL Bean Edition, loaded with nav, auto-dimming rearview mirror, plus all-weather floor mats (in addition to the Bean mats) and plastic cargo liner for $31,050 (before tax and title). How does this deal sound? Haven't picked it up yet (this Thursday) but am looking forward to it and am glad I convinced the wife to go with a Subie (she wanted a RX). I've wanted one for years, as I live in NE Ohio and their prowess in our winters here is well regarded. Will be lurking more frequently in the future now that I will be a first-time Subaru owner!

I'm in upstate NY and one of the local dealers seems to have access to new 2005 Subarus. For months now, they've been advertising 2005 Subarus at 5k off of MSRP. I suspect they can be purchased cheaper than that. I'm surprised you haven't come across any dealers in NE with access to a new 2005. Martin

I still don't get it. It's the NY Metro area and I've seen 3 Tribeca's in 7 months and you've seen 4. I believe that come April, you will see further discounting and leasing deals. SOA needs to clear the 2006 inventory and the 2007 model is rumored to be out in May/June. The $299/mo lease deal will live, but the down payment should drop to under $2K. Buyers in the April/May timeframe should also consider the 2006 Acura MDX. I've been told by a Sales Manager for Acura that deep discounts are in store for April as well. The MDX body for 2007 changes completely. Acura did the same discounting when the ne TL came out 2 yrs ago with a style change.
