I was helping my daughter out with the purchase of a new care. We had gone to a couple of other Toyota Dealers inititally. Gotten prices, test driving talking with the finance guys, etc. WE were close to buying but I wanted to "Check the price with the Competition". I made an online enquiry through EDMUNDS to three dealers. They all got back to me with very quickly but Chad in the Internet Sales Deptartment at Rock Hill Toyota was the guy who made it happen with getting down to the bottom line (without knowing where he had to be) and didn't try to squeeze, badger of buffalo me. Our phone conversation progressed to him handing me off with a Sales Agent - Kelsey Cash. Kelsey and I talked about the car (a Yaris) and what was on the lot. Their price was the same as the other dealer we had originally selected but their quote on the financing was at a lower interst rate than the other dealer. Both of these were going through Toyota to take advantage of the College Grad Insentive Program ($1000off select models). I was sceptical about the financing as the other dealer had said 5% (but meant 5.99%). My daughter contacted the original dealer to see if they would match the offer. NO WAY! She made an appointment to go and see Kelsey and the car. We arrived a minute or two early but Kelsey was ready and waiting for us. We were in the car for a test drive in about 10 minutes (he had it brought up, ready and waiting for us prior to arrival). When we came back we again talked about the price and the financing. They took about 5 minutes to come back with a sales agreeemnt that TRUE TO THEIR WORD, had the talked about price AND the lower rate - 2.3% lower than the other dealer with the same program ($21 and change a month less and over $1500 over the life of the loan). To top it off they allowed us $500 more for her old car. The buying experience was great and we were in the fianance department doing paperwork in a little over an hour from walking in the door. I was EXPECTING the HIGH PRESSURE SALES on a lot of upgrades and warranties etc but was pleasantly surprised by the fianance guy (and I apologieze to him but I cant remember his name) the low key approach he took. SHe ended up with an additional $10/month for a maintenance package for all routine and scaheduled services. We've had a couple of followup calls from the customer service department asking if we were happy. My hat's off to Toyota of Rock Hill, Chad, Kelsey and the entire team for doing business in a pleasant, professional, friendly and courtious manner. Highly recommended!
