Vandergriff Scion, Arlington TX. Salesman implied the price might change due to change in vehicle or option price, not delivery price. In any case, if a middle man is not able to guarantee, at time of deposit, a final sales price for product to be delivered within 2 weeks, then he is either incompetent or running a scam. I have reported to FTC and state Attorney General for what it's worth. Thanks for suggestion re using a net dealer.
