OK, Saturn has a total of $2,500 in rebates to the general population, plus a possilbe $150 dealer incentive. These posts speak of other discounts, yet the Edmunds True Market Price shows very near sticker. What's up? I want to set the record for the most amount below sticker paid on a Saturn.
Re: 08 XE Lease [2or4wheels]

Hi 2or4wheels. I believe that the Aura has four wheels. OK, next question ;). Let's take a look at the selling price that you were quoted for this car. The 2008 Saturn Aura that you described probably has a spread of around $1,400 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. Saturn is not currently providing any cash incentives on leases other than a $500 conquest cash incentive in its Northeast region. That may be the $500 that you referenced in your post. Either way, the selling price that you were quoted for the Aura that you want to lease looks very attractive to me. GMAC's base lease rate for the 2008 Saturn Aura is currently 3.0%. Make sure that the dealer that you are working with uses this rate to calculate your lease payment and you're all set. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Re: Outlook XE AWD Lease - good price? [maverick8]

Folks, response from a CA Saturn dealer yesterday: Outlook XR AWD over 24Mths @ 10k PA = 70% residual & 6.45% Outlook XR AWD over 36Mths @ 10k PA = 65% residual & 6.45% OK so nobody gets to have their cake and eat it right, but 6.45% is a joke of a rate. That equates to a MF of approximately 0.00269 !!! or almost 4x what I have been quoted on Mazda CX9 (0.00064 / 1.54%) !!!! Now I appreciate that these -inflated?- residuals are massive, but the MF is an insult. I fully intend to qualify this fact tomorrow, watch for update.
Did I do OK?

Good afternoon all! I've been reading the posts and just have to ask! I bought a 2005 Saturn Vue V6 (not AWD) on March 31st of this year, so I have had it about 6 weeks or so. So far, I LOVE IT! I traded in my 2001 Chevy Malibu LS (loaded, 45,000 miles) and the Saturn dealer gave me $7900.00 for it! Boy was I surprised, seeing how the Volkswagen dealer said $4900.00 and the Chevy dealer was a measly $5500.00! Anyway, I leased the Saturn for $290.00 per month, no money down, 15,000 miles per year for 48 months. The Saturn has V6, power, moonroof, leather, heated seats (comfort package with power) and the Care Plan for 48 months, no deductible... I think that's it. The paperwork said something close to $26,500. According to the lease agreement, I will owe $400.00 at the end of the lease to just turn it in; that's assuming that I don't have excess wear. I can't imagine what excess wear I could get, the Malibu was in mint condition! Did I get a deal? The deal is done, so there is no going back now... maybe I can learn something for next time? Thanks all! Hiedi P.S. If anyone was interested, this was in Indianapolis, Indiana. ;)
