Buying a car from a Saab Car Dealer
Hi, My lease is up in October and GMAC is asking 18K for my car (9-3 sportcombi 2.0T automatic with 39K on it). The buy price is 18K and when I checked edmunds web site they suggest that 12K is a more realistic price (I've seen '07's with less mileage for 17K). I called up GMAC and they said they don't renegotiate the end of lease price. Has anyone had any success in doing so? If not, what sort of leases have people got in the DC for a base sportcombi? Paul
Good move! That car is a deal at 26K. We were in DC & VA on Thur. & Fri and I was going to look at what is now your X, but didn't get time. Enjoy & good luck!
anyone know what a "good" deal on a 9-3 Aero sedan, automatic trans in the DC/MD/NoVA area would be-typical monthly payments, TTL, etc??? Thanks
I signed the lease on the dotted line. I don't live in the past and Math is not my specialty. Do you really care at this point knowing if it was exactly 3.7 or 3.79? What I care about is that I forget to ask of the NAV replaces the 6 disc DC and I think the car only has 1 CD ... Am I wrong??? ... Need to play with it tonight on my 1.2 mile drive home.
When I do a TMV Pricing Report on the 9-2X (Aero with Sport and Aero Premium packages) on Edmunds.com, the total with options and destination comes up as $29,968, but then they discount it $12,000!!! This would be a great price, but it seems ridiculously low. Is this a reasonably close number to take to a dealer or would they laugh me out of the showroom? Anybody come close to this number? I live in Maryland, just outside of DC. I'm trying to decide between 9-2X and Mazda3. Both nice cars, but a $30,000 car for under $20,000 would be hard to pass up.
