Re: Conquest Rebate??? [tkcolorado]: by willhbauto on Wed May 16 20:52:00 PDT 2007; I work for a dealer here in Mesa, AZ, a geo is a GM vehicle, it was a joint venture between toyota and GM, so unless you own another vehicle that is non-GM you wont qualify for the conquest rebate.

Good price, Bad dealership.: by maximum on Mon Jun 27 16:37:26 PDT 2005; I bought a 2005 Vibe with the "Employee discount for everyone" promotion. They also gave $2,000 in rebates/incentives on top of that. I looked up the TMV pricing for the same car with all the same options (plus I got window tinting and pin stripes) and found we paid almost $2K less than the TMV. :) Too bad the buying experience wasn't as nice as the price. The dealership tried to get us to sign a contract for more than the agreed price (twice) and then tried to get us to pay extra for the tinting and pin striping, even though it was supposed to be included. Then they lied about the mileage on the odometer -- we didn't notice before taking possession. :mad: Then they had the nerve to ask us to only check "completely satisfied" on the questions of their customer survey. :confuse: Moral of the story: Say away from Midway Auto in Phoenix, AZ!

Well, the Cosmos Purple was sold, but, cross your fingers....: by crusher on Sun Nov 21 06:12:18 PST 2004; I have re-aligned my sights for the 2004 Pulse Red, 6 Spd, GTO. Currently there is 5 Dealers with the combo I want in AZ. Asking for quotes as before with GMS, GMAC & Military Rebate Bonus. I should have at least one out-the-door quote for less than $28K. Again, its pain doing these kind of deals from overseas, but I will hang in there!

Decision Time......48 Hours to Decide: by crusher on Thu Nov 18 00:43:49 PST 2004; I have about 48 Hours to decide on purchasing a Cosmos Purple, 04 GTO, 6spd, for about $28K out the door. That's with GMS, GMAC Bonus Rebate $3,500, Military Bonus Rebate $500K and 2.9% @ 60 months. I really like the color base on photos in this forum(I am stationed overseas). I will be home next month for the holidays and really wanted to make the purchase at that time, however, but this is the last Cosmos Purple in AZ and the only other color I like is the Barbarous Blue only because it will be discontinued. I think if I wait these colors will not be available next month. Now saying that I think I can be happy with the Midnight Blue. The question is do I gamble and hope that similar incentives will be available around this time next year? My gut feeling is GM will offer either a lower rebate or similar interest rates next year, but not both. I am guessing that I will end up paying an estimated $32K out-the-door for a 2005 GTO, which will make my monthly payments significantly higher. Thanks in advance for your great comments.

GM Employee pricing incentive?: by bluewolf on Sat Jun 04 12:12:02 PDT 2005; Anybody seeing great deals out of this promotion? Is $1000 Hotbutton still going? Edmunds just shows $1000 customer cash. Wondering if I can get GM Employee Pricing minus these incentives. The hard part is finding one with side airbags, almost nonexistent around here.
