I solicited a dozen local Honda dealerships over the internet, asking for their best price on a 2012 Odyssey. One of their internet sales managers replied quickly with a great price. After all the other replies, it was the best price. I asked for the out the door price, and they were very clear on each price (sales tax, TTL etc.). Even though it was right around invoice (for a 2012 that just got on the lots!), I asked them to come down another $200. After some resistance, they agreed. The next day we went to the dealership, and were in and out in an hour. He gave us a walkthrough of the vehicle, then handed us off to financing. Financing pushed (obviously) the warranties and coverages, but not too hard, which was nice. All in all, a great experience, but maybe I'm biased b/c they gave such a great upfront price, and played NO games. It's my first real new car purchase (always buy preowned via private party), and it went great.
