Fantastic experience

by Olowin on 07/10/2013

I recently leased a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander from Interstate Mitsubishi and the experience was absolutely delightful. The staff and management treated me well with complete information about the vehicle and buying/leasing options. The transaction went very smoothly and I feel very good about the experience.

Stay away.....

by itoor on 06/09/2012

Where do I begin.... one of the worst dealerships in the world. Untrained & non-professional staff, never deliver on commitments, will do everything to lurk you into buying a car and then roll back on price commitments. Stay Away from them!!!!!!!!!! I was planning to buy a Chrysler Pacifica, we negotiated the price and they promised to look into the check engine light. It was an A/C relay sensor, that they fixed but they kept delaying the final closure on the deal and after almost a week I was told that they will not sell the vehicle to me as now they have put a lot of money and can't deliver on the promised price. They wasted my precious time that I could have spent looking for cars elsewhere. My quest to make sure that no one else ever comes to this dealership will not end with this comment. I will call Mitsubishi USA head quarter and will lodge a formal complaint about this dealership to the highest officials. Erie Mitsubishi may your business never thrive and you you suffer sever losses ... ..... Amen !

Worse Experience Ever

by stairway2seven on 11/03/2011

I felt like these guys told me everything that I wanted to hear so that I would buy the vehicle. They told me that tires would be changed and this particular vehicle had 4 wheel steer, it was making some noises which caused some concern to me, they said that they would have it looked at for me since it was not inspected yet. After inspection they told me that nothing caught their eye so they did not do anything to it. After they put the new tires on they promised they had to do an alignment (all 4 wheels) when I asked if they had the machine to do this all 4 wheel alignment I kind of got the run around and was told they would take it to a Chevrolet dealer so they could do it. Well they never took it anywhere but their own garage, it also took them 8 hours to put tires on my truck, I dont know if they have never put tires on before or what. Getting ahold of these people was like pulling hair, I would call and leave a message and never hear back from them untill I called back again. Ernie the sales manager would tell me that he would give me a call when he found something out, and I never got a call. During all of these repairs that NEEDED done for the deal to be done I asked for a loaner vehicle since they had mine, I was told they dont give out loaner vehicles. Meanwhile I live 30 minutes away and work 35 minutes away. After complaining enough they gave me a vehicle to drive, a car that was just traded in and was not cleaned out, had dog hair all over the place and ran like a POS, to top that whole thing off the loaner had NO GAS in it.... believe me I made sure they put gas in it before I left the lot. This is no way to treat a customer, I thought that if you wanted customers to return you treat them with respect and you show them that you will take care of them am I wrong?? I would never return to Interstate Mitsubishi ever again for anything besides warranty, which they probably wont cover anyway. Maybe this is because I am a 22 yr old man who was willing to spend $18,000 on a vehicle.....? Unreal and I could go on all day about this, do your self a favor and stay away.

Make sure it is writing

I would highly recommend not buying a mitsubishi vehicle from this particular dealership. I had previously had a bad experience at different dealership over only receiving one key for a car. I thought I had learned and brought this question to the NEW salesman at Interstate. And was told that there were two keys for the car. And I mistakenly took his word for it. After signing the papers for the vehicle I was given only one key. I again brought to the salesman attention about the key in which he replied "I will take care of that for you, no problem", my wife also witnessed this. Came back the next day with the title for my trade-in, that is another story, and low and behold, how the story changed. The NEW salesman said "I never said I would take care of that, and we never talked about another key". So now my wife and I are lying. And of the course "it's against dealership policy to supply additional keys, floor mats and mud flaps". $170.00 and I can have a new key for my car. So, I would recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible. The're salesman are [violative content deleted], and this especially includes there sales manager, [violative content deleted]. You could tell he knew his NEW salesman was lying and was covering for him. What happened to "The customer is always right", I guess that went out the window with the economy. Once again, I highly, recommend staying away from Interstate MItsubishi.
