Purchased a certified pre-owned 2015 Touareg from Bill Kurz on Saturday 08/11/18. Great deal, awesome sales professionals all the way from Shawn Shaffer finding the vehicle, delivery by Bill Kurz, and financing with Jason Hartman! Chose to drive an hour and half away because of the amazing customer service I received. Took delivery and found a slight issue with the tires, spoke with the sales manager Derek Fitchett. He was extremely patient and understanding of the situation. He offered to replace all four tires for free if I were to travel back to the dealership. Being a bit out of the way I offered to pay half and he agreed to have them replaced at my local dealer here. Very appreciative of all the support from every one involved with this sale including the excellent follow up from Derek to rectify a potential safety concern. Thank you again from the bottom of my family's hearts in making me a satisfied and future customer!

I was looking for a reasonably priced recent model VW Jetta, and I found a listing on the Autotrader site for what looked to be a perfect match posted by North Penn Imports for.a certified pre-owned 2015 Jetta. The posting included numerous high quality photos, and a complete list of features for the car. I used to Autotrader site’s request to contact feature to find out more information Bout the car. Shawn Shaffer emailed me back early the next morning, and I was able to get all the information I needed. Once I lined up my financing, I called Shawn again the next day, and arranged to travel up to look at the car. I live just south of Washington DC, so traveling close to 200 miles to look at a car was a leap,of faith. But it was absolutely worthwhile, the car was immaculate, I would swear it was new. Bill Kurz showed me around the car, and took me for a test drive, he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the car, best sales manager I could have asked for. Jason Hartman helped me with some additional insurance coverage, and I was able to drive home to DC with a car that far exceeded my wildest expectations. The entire North Penn Imports team was friendly and professional, and the dealership was clean, modern, and comfortable. I’m thoroughly satisfied with my experience, and would highly recommend North Penn Imports to anyone looking for a new or certified pre-owned VW.

My story is very simple really. I was in the market for a Touareg TDI R-line in Canyon Grey. I did a search through Edmunds and it came up with two within 100 miles of me. The price listed from North Penn was very good, the best of the two and North Penn's reviews were excellent. In less than an hour I received an email from John B confirming the offer. I then called John with few questions on financing and filled out the application on the North Penn website. John sent me a few pictures of the car that I requested and confirmed approval of financing. I then confirmed with John over the phone that I would like to purchase the car , gave a deposit over the phone and set an appointment to pick up the car in two days. When I arrived at the dealership John was immediately available and took me directly out to inspect and go over the details of the car. The Touareg was exactly as was described, prepped and ready to go. We then finalized the deal with finance department. within the hour I was out the door and on my way home in my new Touareg. I have purchased a lot of cars over the years and experienced a full range of dealer competence. This was a ten! A great pleasure. Thank you.

The service I received at North Penn Volkswagen was an A++. Everyone there was extremely courteous and seemed to really go out of their way to get me the best deal possible. John B was my sales person and he couldn't have been any better. He made me feel comfortable with my purchase and seemed to really care about my personal financial situation. He and the Used Car Sales Manager went above and beyond to get me a good finance rate and a payment I would be able to live with every month. I purchased my first Volkswagen at North Penn over 10 years ago and the service was great then too. I'm happy to see that hasn't changed over the years. Keep up the great work!!!

After owning Hondas (both the Accord and the Civic) for many years and most recently a 2013 Civic, I just was not satisfied with its performance. I had visited North Penn VW last August (2013) and was considering a Jetta at the time which impressed me quite a bit, but the allure of the new Civic was too much to ignore. After a few months the newest wore thin and the reality set in. I was not happy with the Civic for a variety of reasons, so my search took me back to North Penn where I felt truly welcomed. I had met with Greg H in the past and also Joe DeP and both guys are a delight to know and work with on the decision of selecting my new VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition just after seven months of owning the Civic. Besides Joe, the other staff members were very pleasant and knowledgeable, but what I learned after a couple of visits and 2 test drives, was that I was not being pressured by anyone to "You have to buy that car now". The relaxed, stress-free, hassle-free, and comfortable atmosphere was something I had never run into before in a new car dealership and it was a joy to be in that environment. Joe and I talked about many other things almost as if we knew each other from the past but he never was aggressive, forceful, or pushy in all of our discussions. His understanding of my needs and wants really help in my final decision. When I am ready to purchase another new car, my first and only choice will be North Penn VW in Colmar, PA. In December I purchased a used 2012 VW Beetle for my wife as a Christmas gift, something she was very happy about. We had a lease coming due on a minivan, so I started looking at a replacement, and started looking up info on the Routan. I liked the exterior and interior upgrades made by VW to differentiate it from the US made minivans and starting searching the internet and found North Penn had a great inventory of vehicles. After speaking with Matthew T, I knew I wanted to get a VW from this dealership. Matt was very helpful, and since I would be coming from out of state, he offered to video the car for me and send me a link - which he did. I consider myself a "car guy" and loved having a real conversation with Matt about the VW products and everything he and I knew about the brand. After a few conversations about the vehicle, we made a deal, and I made the trip to New Penn. I am only dissapointed that New Penn is not in my hometown, it is a great dealership, awesome facility, and terrific staff! Purchased a 2014 Jetta Sportswagon. After 7 years of no car payments and loving our minivan, we had no desire to take on more debt but the time had come. We looked at Nissan and Subaru but seriously shopped at Honda, Mazda and Hyundai. We had planned on a Hyundai but when the snow hit we realized we needed a heavier vehicle that was also more versatile. Everything, from the time we walked into the showroom until we drove away in our new car, was exceptional. I had just finished a round of car shopping with my son (who was buying his first new car at age 24) and felt pretty jaded to the whole process and runaround. Every employee was warm yet professional. Irv was extremely thorough, patient and thoughtful and thanks to Fred the deal became a reality. We are so glad that we stayed local and did not pursue the other dealerships who called, etc. after we completed the Consumer Report request.

I was in the market for a specific 2013 Jetta model and color and found the vehicle in the dealer's inventory. I called and was transferred to Joe D who immediately answered my questions, took some info, and called me back in a few minutes with a lease quote, which included a buyout of my current Jetta. Best quote by far of the several VW dealerships that I had contacted. Gave the OK and everything was set to go when my daughter, wife and I came to the showroom. Joe could not have been any nicer - my wife and daughter still tell stories about him! The rest of the staff was also very cordial - absolutely no pressure to buy any add on vehicle protection. I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant new car experience in my life - and I'm 63 years old! I would whole heartedly recommend this dealership.

Understand that if you're reading this review, that means you're an educated car buyer that's going to be well armed and prepared with all the information you need to get the right price for your particular car. So what else is left? Trust and overall experience. North Penn had a great car which was exactly what I was looking for and they didn't give me any problems. At no time did I feel like they didn't treat me like a person. Customer service was top notch and their online reviews will only validate my statements. Below is a review I provided on their site: I purchased a CPO 2011 VW GTI from North Penn VW and I couldn't be happier with my experience. This was an amazing vehicle in immaculate condition and North Penn helped make my lifelong dream of becoming a VW owner come true! Bill K was an absolute pleasure to work with and he did his absolute best to keep my interests in mind. He was patient with me through a long process while I was doing research on other vehicles, but I knew that going with Bill and North Penn was the right decision. Even after purchasing the vehicle, he responded quickly to my follow up emails and I know they'll treat me as a lifelong customer and not just another sale. Jeff A was also helpful, ensuring that I get the correct coverage for my particular vehicle without trying to add redundant warranties to boost their profits. For over 9 years, we had only one car for our family, which my husband drives to work daily over 1.5 hours away from our home. Finally, we found ourselves in a position to afford another vehicle, provided it was for no more than $20,000, including tax & tags. I began shopping the web for a late-model, low mileage car in excellent condition, and since we have had an absolutely fabulous experience with you both purchasing and servicing our 2006 Jetta TDI (and had had the same great service previously with our 2000 Jetta), I naturally started at the NPVW website. I chatted online briefly with Greg H about a Tiguan - my personal dream car - that met our needs, but that one had already been sold. I asked Greg to let us know if another came available, and continued searching. I called him a bit later, since there were 2 silver Tiguans on your site, and asked if he could inspect them for me, and get me a total cost, including tax & tags. Greg exceeded my expectations with a 2010 Tiguan with less than 31000 miles, a showroom-new interior, and 4 new tires! The fabulous customer service did not stop there. Although we did come in with a pre-approved loan, Jeff in the finance department asked about our rate, and thought he could do better by us. He did FAR better by us than our own bank did: the rate Jeff found was 3% lower than the one we'd already received. I love your dealership, and recommend them to everyone I know.

I bought a used 2002 honda from this dealership and i told them i thought the transmission was bad. The used car manager assured me that it was not that his people were certified 28 days later i had to rebuild the transmission. They really did me wrong made me pay 13 hundred dollars to fix.They really dont treat you right after you leave. bad place to buy a car.

Went in twice to buy cars two months ago. The salesman was very self absorbed and spoke condescendingly. I offered 1K less on a GTI and he gave me a lecture of how superior VW's were. He wasn't willing to negotiate on cars I wanted and kept referring me to older models with more miles, while flaunting his large number of active customers. I made him an offer open to negotiation and he called it insulting (the car wasn't even impressive). My fiance and I were both very offended and left immediately, both times. We ended up buying a RX at Thompson Lexus and a Z at 309 Nissan, both very positive experiences. To be fair, I spoke briefly with some other salesmen and they seemed nice, its just this one cocky guy named merv or vern or something. Don't think I'll ever go back to this dealer again.

I have bought more than my fair share of cars over the past few years and felt it was time to move into a new one. I decided between two (VW GTI and Mazdaspeed3) and identified North Penn VW-Mazda as a place I could drive both. I got in touch with Nick in the internet sales department and he worked around my schedule to set up a day where I could spend the morning driving both back to back. Within hours we had an agreement on one and an agreement on my trade value. I was very happy with the pricing agreements we had come to. Unfortunately, the dealer trade that was to get me the car I wanted fell through. Nick went out of his way and expanded his search and found be the car I wanted... in Germany. At no extra expense he got it here within two weeks (and a week before he said it would be here). Note that I did want a very unique combination of equipment and Nick went out of his way to find it rather than taking the easy way and selling me things I didn't want. Great experience over all. I wouldn't hesitate to send my wife or grandmother there by themselves - these guys are the real deal and downright good people that seem proud of what they do.
