I did online research and gathered enough information for shopping this new 2008 CRV EX. I asked for quote from 3 different dealerships, as well as the CostCo membership service. Honda of Hillsboro (HoH) is one of the three, and it also is the dealership that CostCo chose. With the confidence I have with CostCo in all these years, I decided to start with HoH. Contact is easy either email or phone, Clint Edwards, the representative from HoH is very responsive and yet not too aggressive, which is what I expected during this economic downturn. The first thing we did was test drive the car and my wife really love that car. Then the game began after we were back to the table. The CostCo program already set the very low starting price, and Clint knew that I did some research before I came, so he was pretty straight forward without the usual bargaining games. At last, we came with a price that we both agreed was reasonable for both sides and the deal was made. The paperwork was done pretty fast, though they tried to sell some other service packages, or after market added-on, but I didn't feel too much pressure at all. I bought several Honda cars before, Civic, Accord, Odyssey, and now the CRV. Each one had brought me a very good impression of Honda's dealership. Overall, my experience with HoH is very good and positive. I would recommend this dealership, as well as Clint, to others who live in this area.
